I will not be able to see almost any Blazer games this year so I think I'll get the one team league pass.

Do any of you have that? Is it worth it to just get the full league pass even if I get to watch a ton of other teams via regular cable?

Are there worthwhile shows to watch aside from the actual games?

I'll be working odd hours, are all the games on demand for late night viewing?

    Any other thoughts you have.

    Thanks.

I got it once years ago when I had Dish Network. It was cool for me to listen to different TV crews. I'm sure it would be on demand if you're going through comcast. If not, just DVR. Generally if you have HD you're going to have DVR capabilities.

I bought it just to check in on my favorite white former Gonzaga players.

"Fuck the rest of the NBA"?

I live and die by it. Have had it for 15 years and don't know what I'd do without it. I use the streaming a ton because of my travel. But i'm on a whole other level. I record probably six game a night or so and slam thru em after the family is all asleep. There is no extra programming worth watching. You automatically get NBATV with it, but I never watch that unless they have a nice matchup that night. It automatically renews your subscription, so if your me and forget about it, it's great. Just set it to record 3 games for tomorrow night FAMS! Let the games begin!!!!!!

I should mention, I write it off, so it makes it THAT much more enjoyable.

...my opinion, based on personal experience of buying League Pass last year, is that it is complete SHIT! Maybe it would be different if you lived outside of the giant blackout region, but for me in the Mid-Willamette Valley it was utter garbage. More than half the games were blacked out last season (I would venture to guess that number was closer to 65% of the games). For $119.99 it was a total waste. It might make sense if they reduced the price to offset the blackout games, but I doubt it. Until something else comes along I will be using https://www.reddit.com/r/nbastreams/ again! Hope this helps :dunno:

...no, I didn't know the blackout radius extends all the way down here and nowhere in the NBA's signup process do they explain this. To me it feels like bait and switch style tactics by greedy cable companies. If I am paying for a League Pass to the Blazers then I want to see ALL of their games! That is the whole reason for signing up in the first place. It's a worthless service to anyone in the blackout area.

I pay $199 and get on average 10-12 NBA games a night....... for 6 months. I and I believe everybody else knows that the big marquee matchups will be nationally televised. Ends up being about 8 cents a game. You don't get the NBA League pass for LOCAL games anyway.

uh, local is now a long friggin way from the Moda. Since CS is not on any satellites. LP was once the way to see the games. Not anymore.
LP via Dish considers me as local to Portland, Sacramento, and San Francisco. So it makes LP worthless. I do get the CSBA channel with Warriors, but Curry has fucked that up.

...I don't care about any other games, just want to watch Blazers. I tried League Pass because I don't have/want local cable or satellite packages. Tell me again why it is impossible to pay for a service that would allow me to watch ALL Blazer games without ghosting my IP address and pretending I live in Europe?

Yep. It worked until three years ago. But after that, no good. No Blazer, Kings or Warrior games for me. I think I only get blacked out of the Warrior games because CSBA (local Bay area Channel) carries the game.
