Swanigan seemed to have problem with the fast defensive switches. I don't think it's that he's slow but it's obvious he will have to get used to the league. Zach's learning curve is ridiculous. He wasn't even a factor when the pre season started!

Or maybe the Clippers gonna be bad. Their announcer said they have had 20 turnovers (or more) in all 3 games so far in preseason. Granted that is pre season with multiple combinations, but looking at their roster and no Cp3 walking through their locker room door to help out....that maybe be an issue in the regular season.

Maybe, but that doesn't preclude the Blazers being pretty good. Toronto's not going to be bad yet the Blazers built up a nice lead over them until Stotts cleared the bench.

To be fair, Toronto didn’t play Free Throw Guy that night.

Plus there is the inevitable Blake Griffin injury looming. I think the Clips will be about where we were last year, battling for the 8th seed with a team like Utah or New Orleans.

Sames. I was busy finishing my fermented Hatch chili hot sauce. It was worth missing the game. It's basically a hotter green version of sriracha. I'm calling it Green River Killer.

Maybe I am high but I don't see how we couldn't be better than a team like the Spurs. Every player we have is young and developing. The media is taking to teams like the Spurs as if it is a foregone conclusion they will be top four. Now Houston I understand, but well... Fuck the Spurs. I want us to own them all season. Also Fuck The Spurs and Fuck The Spurs!

The Spurs don't look that great on paper. I'm reluctant to say that this will be the year that age finally catches up them, because they just keep putting out great teams every year. For me, they are a top 3 western conference team, until they prove otherwise. I hope they fall off of a cliff though.

They killed the Nuggets as badly as we killed the Clippers, only hardly any of their starters played. The Spurs are greater than the sum of their parts. Sort of the opposite of OKC this year.

Maybe. They havent really got a chance to play fully healthy, plus they are playing alot of guys that wont be playing in regualr season. They won't be good, but they wont be bad either

The Clippers looked completely uninterested in playing defense. If I had received a ticket for free and was a Clippers fan I’d feel ripped off.

I still think if we beat them in head to head matchups then we've reached another plateau. That probably not realistic, but it's worth shooting for.

Kinda why he's making the vet min and trying to win the 15th spot.

Volume 3pt shooters who go off at a 42% clip for the better part of a decade who can do anything else aren't available for the vet min.

It's interesting to me, as well, that we talk about the dearth of shooting on the team. If we do keep Morrow, we'll have two of the top 16 All-Time 3pt% shooters in Morrow and CJ, and OBTW by the end of the year our PG will likely be Top 50 all-time of 3pt made.
