It baffles me that 5 years into this shit, Stotts still doesn't seem to see this stuff. What the fuck is wrong with this idiot? Someone get this clown some glasses.

You can't shoot 39 percent and play like shit 1/2 the game expect come out ahead. Yes the ref wasnt very good tonight. But you don't shoot yourself in the foot by not making clutch free throws. Maybe if they start playing in the first half instead waiting for the 2nd half. Stotts didnt do a good job coaching in this game. We loose a lot close games since Stotts been here he just don't think sometimes in key situation in the game. Especially when clippers didn't have any times out he could call time before to be able set his D in the finally sec. Maybe gave CJ a breather for the shots and then get the right defense too.

 

Other teams stifle our offense by trapping Dame and CJ yet we just let the other team's star abuse us one on one.

 

And if you think this loss is bad, just wait until the Rockets, OKC, and Warriors come to town.

Nurk playing with foul trouble is mainly on Stotts. Some players can adjust and play with fouls but the guy is a center banging in the post and a lot of times trying to cover for our shitty perimeter defense. You gotta take him out there.

 

Oh well. Home court obviously doesn't mean shit to this team. So why should we worry about seeding? Not even sure this team will make it to the playoffs. We only beat 3 basement teams.

We're going to lose a lot of depth due to the shit contracts Olshey gave to Turner and Leonard, so we may as well hit the lottery again to get some depth.

Nurk didn't pick up his 3rd foul until very late in the 2nd and then got his 4th and 5th fouls very early in the 3rd. Refs were a crack shot sniper crew tonight waiting for the exact right stretch to pounce on him.

 

I think only like 3 were legitimate fouls. But hey, if the refs call it that way it must mean it's legitimate and a good barometer to use.

 

So yeah I'm down with seeing what Vonleh improved on in the summer lol. No way griffin goes off like that against Noah.

I'm awful tired of watching Griffin post at 20ft and back Aminu all the way under the basket.
Would've been nice to force Griffin to play out of a double team, or to see Swanigan in there.
At the very least Swanigan would've forced Griffin to make FT's. Not like Portland was keeping the Clippers off the line to begin with. Let the rook use some fouls to break some rhythm.
