Ariza? As his ceiling, I mean. That's not bad - pretty much protypical 3-and-D.

I would start Pat C. at SF over Moe. He just doesn't do it for me.

James Johnson/PJ Tucker, nothing to scoff at.

That's an interesting take. Personally, I like both players. I would definitely put Mo ahead as a starter though.

    Moe is fraction man!

1/3 the stats of Durant for 1/4 of the price.

Two COMPLETELY different players. Catch and shoot vs a swiss army knife hustle, defense, slashing type. Depends on the matchup for sure.

Pat would def hit those open threes the starters create for moe, but I want Pat's offense off the bench personally

I just believe that Moe is too inconsistent. I believe we need a more consistent player in this spot.
What would you think of line up with: Dame, CJ, Pat C, Caleb and Jusuf? E.T., Zach and Chief coming off the bench ...

I love what Harkless brings. But, until he can create his own shot he won't be a 25ppg scorer.

A guy like Harkless is a great role player on good team.

I really somehow had hope, that Harkless would read that:) and maybe he put some effort for those believing fans.

Now I just want fkin bench him next to Bieber. I'm really disappointed with him and I think he could be some kind of problem in locker room. I might be wrong, but Batum was our glue guy on and off the court . Harkless seems to be opposite.

I know it could be BS but this team just does not work good and I'm not the only person that panicking on this forum. Something is terribly wrong with motivation in this team for a long time. I think Hark want to be in NY and we should let him go. Or ask him;)

His ceiling is what we're seeing out of him right now.

I'm dissapointed with Moe too. Last year he was better. But we need him as a defender

Unfortunately I am coming to that realization as well. I had hopes he was on an improvement track that would extend to this yr but I think we may be seeing the Hark that is and will be for the next several years. Just too inconsistent and really not starter material - a role player. Hope he proves this outlook wrong but so far that is not the case.

I do wonder if his inconsistent play keep up if we'll see Jake get more opportunities to see what he can do. BTW I don't really have high hoped for Jake but he does deserve a shot IMO especially given what Hark has show so far.

With Aminu out, if Harkless continues his inconsistency and laziness, I would be all for giving Layman a chance, even if it's only to send a message to Harkless

It is a very small sample size but in the last 3 games where Layman didn't play just mop up minutes in the pre-season, I thought he played fairly well.
    He was 15-23 from the field (.652), 7-10 from 3-pt range (.700) with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks and 3 turnovers.

Of course it was pre-season and one of those games was against Maccabi, but sometimes there are things players can do that others can't no matter what the competition. Harkless or Aminu could play against the bottom feeders of the league and not shoot that well. But what I also like is that Jake has other basketball skills. He has a better handle then either of Mo or Chief (not exactly a high bar), is solid defensively and is deceptively athletic.

He hasn't been very good but neither has Mo. Then again, it's tough to be good when all you get is spot garbage minutes with 'The Closers'. Put him out there for a stretch with the regular rotation players and see what happens....and give it a few games instead of just one game and then a benching.

Mo's ceiling? I think you're seeing it. Hustle guy, with a shaky jumper, so-so defense, and the occasional flash. Ideally he'd be a 7th or 8th man in your rotation for about 15-18 minutes a night. Good enough to hold the fort as a backup, but definitely not good enough to tilt the floor as a starter.

People squawking about him being a disappointment must have had unrealistic expectations, becaue he's basically the same guy he's always been since he came into the league.
