    Melo did that shit on purpose and almost got away with it. Clear lane to the basket, but Carmelo thought a circus shot with his back to the basket was a better idea? Naw, he seeked that contact out. Glad the refs didn't fall for it.

    Exactly. Dude was already pissed off at the refs so that context matters. He could've had a dunk, and if not he should've went up with his body facing the basket and created contact with his right shoulder while finishing with his left, like most players do. Instead, he led with the ball and his elbows to Nurkic's face... Not natural at all. Flagrant 1 or Flagrant 2, it didn't matter. He already had a technical.

    If you listen to Westbrook, the refs literally did what he asked them to do...
    So after he gets hit in the face and they don't look at it so he asks them to review when guys get hit... and Melo goes elbows-first into Nurk and they do review it when he gets hit....and Melo gets ejected because they looked at it and saw it was blatant Adonal Foyle, and he's still crying about it?
