    You really think Americans in the military would blindly follow orders to fire on other unarmed Americans? Government isn't some mystical entity. Government is made up of citizens.

    Aren't you a prison guard? Don't you work for the government? According to your definition that makes you the government. So if the order comes down for "the government" to start shooting people that means you will do it without question?

    I agree! Slavery would have been different if slaves were given guns.

    But according to the constitution at the time would they have been given 3/5th of a gun or a whole gun?
