I think Biggie's been pretty good on defense. Especially for a rookie. I don't think Vonleh's got much on him in that area either.
But you literally said Swanigan was better. I have no problem with people being wrong, shit I'm wrong a lot too, but I have a problem when someone acts like they're always right.
I don't remember saying that at all. Could be wrong tho. But frankly, I couldn't really GAF what you have a problem with.
If Collins can bulk up, a Center/PF lineup of Nurkic and Collins and Vonleh and Swanigan could be crazy good on both sides of the court in a year.
I really like Randle, both are up for new contracts though. Who gets what might be one of the biggest questions.
Im not sure you know who Julius Randle is... besides that, his value shouldnt be high given LAL NEED to move him to clear the cap space... they prolly offer two max contracts someone
Let's say theoretically Olshey likes randle more than Vonleh. What would a trade look like? Davis and a pick? I doubt LA would want salary back.
Why would the Lakers trade Randle to a division rival (Who some might say is the biggest in rival for them in history.) The only way this happens is if we give up CJ.
of course, theres posibility they want to send Randle, but only if they attach Deng to that deal my point is Olshey should be all over this if deal can be done, god knows players arent willing to come here and when good player becomes available, you dont think too much... hes not stretch 4, but hes better than what we already have and with higher upside too
FYI, Blazers and Lakers haven't been in the same division since 2004. And nobody with any sense of history would claim that the Blazers are the Lakers' biggest rival. And Randle's value doesn't approach CJ's by any stretch of the imagination. Your post fails on every level.
Nobody is taking Deng that's ridiculous. Adding Deng to Randle only makes their return worse. They will buy him out eventually. Best case scenario for LA is they get a first round pick (or a talented player on their rookie deal) and an expiring contract.
first round pick along something is the most likely scenario, but question is, would Olshey be ready to make that move... I mean, Dame wanted team to be improved and I believe adding Randle improves this team (same with Nurk)... of course, Randle alone wont be enough, but in my eyes certainly step closer to having a good starting five I believe we have assets to make this deal happen
Look what the sixers got for Noel. That's probably a good base for Randle. They'd be lucky to get a first for him.
Randle has been ballin so far, I dont think LAL are apropriate place for him I cant vouch for POR either, but that could be win-win situation for both and Im sure hed be happy to come here bottom line is: they DONT WANT to trade him, they NEED to (if what Woj said is true)
