Ed is a better center because he's a Blazers. It's that simple.

Chicago has tried to make him into just a shooter but he’s got more to his arsenal. I’ve watched him play at Real Madrid and he had a Gallinari type offensive game. Our bench is desperate for another scorer and he’d fit. He’s also a good team defender and has a high IQ. His numbers are only inconsistent because of his role. If you look at his percentages, they go up the more he plays. When he’s gettinn at least 25 minutes he produces at a high level.

Your trade is insane man come on. We give up a non lottery pick, a free agent to be, a second round pick, and EVAN TURNER and we get back Evan Fournier AND Jonathan Simmons??

And why would Orlando try and get Hezonja going, he’s a pending free agent there’s no reason for them to waste their time with him anymore. Isaac and Ross are out and he still doesn’t get off the bench. We could get him for next to nothing.

That's really bad. You basically ask the Celtics to do the job so the Blazers get the players. Are we their parent club or something?

And Magic declined the option to Hezonja, I'm pretty sure they know enough about his potential.

Mozgov was better? He and his career 5.6PPG at the time? Nah, he wasn't. Davis is one of the top 5 offensive rebounders in the league. He's also the only good option for their injured player exception, which can only be traded for an expiring player, and the only need a big man.

The Celtics, at 20-4 (or whatever their record is), aren't in win now mode?

You keep acting as if these aren't very low 1st rounders. You're acting is if they aren't getting a high 2nd roumder back. You're saying Griffin won't trade the equivalent of De'Anthony Melton and Immanuel Quickly for Ed Davis and N'Doye Abdoulaye. Seriously? Whoever they get between 25-30 is very likely to never help Boston. They already have too many young prospects as it is. Try to look deeper into context.

Ed Davis is a good fit. But fine, since everybody keeps getting tripped up over the 5 pick difference between Bostons worst 2019 1st and LALs 2019 2nd, have BOS ship over only their 2018 1st.

I have no doubt that they'd trade their 2018 or 2019 1st for Davis. We could turn that and picks of our own into someone extremely useful (Fournier/Simmons).

    I know the Herzonja situation.

We have the benefit of having the best piece for Boston's exception. That could get us extra value to flip. I don't think Orlando will hold onto Fournier much longer.

Would be a great move. How would it happen? We don't have enough assets...

I don't think thats what they are questioning.

They are questioning why Evan Turner gets us two solid players in return, and why Orlando would even do that. That is a solid reason why Orlando wouldnt do it. And shouldnt do it.

Boston does it in a heartbeat... Orlando is like "cool, an overpaid player and late round picks for players that still have more value than we're getting back" ... I dunno.

I see a lot of trades involving Harkless, Turner and Meyers being discussed around the internet. And those trades only work if the opposing GM is smoking crack, which is doubtful. I think Olshey can swing a decent trade with Davis and Napier to a playoff contender, both will be gone next year anyway. And we aren't contending this year, so maybe a trade with a team for a young projectable forward? But trading for a former first round pick that is being underused by another team will just bring us a low ceiling bust we will have to overpay.

No team is giving a 1st rounder for Ed Davis. A first rounder is way too valuable an asset these days for front offices. Also it limits your flexibility the next season due to the Stepien rule.

Neil kill us. He's gonna do something or try too. We need a move quick. Turner can't play

Yeah, Boston would have real trouble trading one of their four first rounders.

And BOS is the only teen that would, due to their unique combination of an injured player exception that can only be used on an expiring player, their need for a big man, as well as their very late 1st and plethora of other picks.

BOS has way too many firsts. They're not gonna keep them all.

Yeah, I say offer another 1st so ORL Gets 4. And maybe just ask for Fournier. If there's any way we could switch Evans we need to do it.

If I was Boston I would just combine the picks to move up and get the player they want. No need to keep all of them. If they find a big man in the draft they are golden for years. I wish we had their problems.
