Sure it was, but the forum personal insult rule doesn't apply to non-members, so there are no rules preventing people from posting malicious or insulting things about public figures (see every Trump thread in the OT section)--as long as that commentary doesn't cross the line into "hate speech". The fact that you interpreted the @!#%!& in @Sinobas' post as crossing that line seems unreasonable to me, and seems based more in who he is rather than anything he said about Taggart. Pretty fascist to suggest someone should be disciplined for exercising their right to remain silent (or censored).
You were calling for me to be suspended for what you imagined my masked curse word said. Saying Taggart should f off and die is malicious, but we're allowed to say stuff about sports figures. I don't really want him to die, it's just something mean to say, because he screwed the team over. We only hired him for his recruting, and now we probably won't even get many of those top recruits.
If the 'masked curse word' by me is imagined and not what you intended then enlighten me, what was the actual 'masked curse word' you were thinking of in your mind at the time you were typing that post and why you consciously decided you had to censor yourself?
How very McCarthyist of you. "If you're not a communist, you have a responsibility to prove it to me, despite a complete lack of any evidence to support my accusation!!"
Fine. If he can get away with a technicality and finding a loop hole to the rule and not get any kind of suspension then it applies both ways. So to you and @Sinobas I say; (Four letter acronym)(female farm animal)
You know @Sinobas and I don't see eye to eye on a lot of things on this forum. Never really enjoyed his posts either, as he along with others tend to make game threads unreadable. However I do take his side on this as IMO. Guilty until proven guilty is a bad way to do things. Not to mention I've been known to mash the keyboard. Due to being unable to think of a specific word which would correctly identify my feelings on something. Can't really discipline someone for your own preconceived notions. Granted it happens to everyone all the time in the real world.
I'm sorry, and I appreciate your explanation. I think I am fairly tolerant and actually have not agreed with any previous bannings. But if he was warned previously about using N word and then posted something where N word would fit and number of letters were the same, he should be banned now.
