I truly just don’t understand what your point is here. Nobody has said all cops are good and you yourself has said you know good cops and I have seen you also agree that there are a lot of good cops but with bad cops also. The one and only reason I talk about objectivity with you is because I believe every word of what you go through. There are images of black people that white people who don't interact with you have because of the media, or being taught by our moronic parents that you're inferior. There's a million reasons but they're just excuses. Being a sarcastic person by nature I try not to leave myself open to it from other people. Which is why I'd never say anything like "you're so well spoken" to a black guy. Because, if someone said that to me I'd say something like "thanks, and your breath isn't half as bad as most other ugly people's" Oops rambled again, back to the point. Objectivity. You're probably right about someone 99 percent of the time, but being held down and treated like shit would make it easy to always default to racism and I don't blame you. There's gotta be some instances where your instinct is wrong, and if you take time to investigate you might be surprised. However, that sounds exhausting when I think about it so........ entirely your decision.
I think you’d be happier if you didn’t take things like that personally. I’ve been complimented for not sagging my pants. I just say thanks, and forget about it. I was in a friends wedding recently, and the only white people there were some of the groomsmen. After the wedding, back at the hotel, I was walking by a group of the grooms family, his sister was there a little drunk. She saw me and goes “Oh there’s one! What’s his name? Tyler? Hey Tyler!!” She was the bridesmaid I walked down the aisle, so I think she just wanted to say hi, but she forgot my name. I was power walking to the bathroom to take a piss, so I didn’t make eye contact, and since she didn’t say my name, I just went to the bathroom. I figured I would see her when I walked out, but she was gone. So I just went back to smoking my cigar outside. If I wanted to take that situation a bad way, I could’ve. But I’m pretty sure she didn’t call me Tyler, just as a funny generic white name, to be mean or something. And I don’t think she meant “there’s one” in a bad way. She probably meant, there’s a groomsman. Because there were like 12 groomsmen total. If someone gives you that compliment, I think you should just take it as a compliment.

I have first hand experience. I watched supervisors beat people and was black balled for saying something. It wasnt race related in my area though. I actually saw mostly white people get beat. Sure they were being dick heads, but it's not justification for beating them when they are handcuffed. There are lots of good cops, unfortunately they are threatened with the thin blue line bullshit if they snitch. Most guys cant afford to lose the paycheck and they drive themselves insane because they hate seeing the wrong thing done and knowing they will be punished if they speak up. While i cant afford bills i have no regrets, and mentally im in a better place jobless.
