here is what I think of it. Spoiler It was like watching Marvel Comics version of Star Wars. I didn't like how much they tried to be cute with one liners, etc. It was like it was filmed by someone who really wasn't a huge Star Wars fan. Especially the Cantina type scene. Still an enjoyable movie, but not what I hoped. If you like Fast and the Furious, Iron Man/Marvel Comics you will enjoy it. If those movies aren't your thing, you probably won't enjoy it as much or view it as regular Star Wars movie. It almost felt like we had missed an episode between 7 and 8. I will say tho, that Adam Driver was the best thing about the movie, the movie gained team as it went along AND the scene with Rey, Kylo and Snoke was awesome. The Superman inspired scene with Carrie Fisher was hokey.
Huge meh for me. I watched too many cool YouTube conspiracy videos and was let down by the middle of the road approach
