I'd fkng send Trashman the Eternal Fruit Cake for Xmas, if he can unload the rubber armed sob fraud; to Frisco.... Our old buddy Rick, must be shitting his pants, IF Dingleberry heads west, lol... blows my mind Rick's never returned; and I really thought he would in due time.... https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/...sbury-could-waive-no-trade-clause-for-giants/
https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/...lock-and-may-be-looking-to-compete-after-all/ O's t/Scrooge of the Winter Meetings. Unhappy, pouting, no teams going to unload talented prospects for one of the better 3rd basemen in MLB....not at this time fools....Live and die by your homegrown talent, something the O's seem to forget, esp when MM is a platinum glover, with good bat... Longoria-good riddance, Tampa's going to be shit, well more shit w/out him... the new cellar dwellars of the AL East.... Kozart, Frisco's new T. Frazier; won't live up to his hype.... TAS: (still available) Escobar, Valencia, Plouffe, Flaherty, Reynolds, Kang, d'Arnaud (stick w/Hockey), Kelly, Middlebrooks, Aviles, Reyes, Johnson, Brignac: none of these impress me.... Moose, I'd love to see in Pinstripes, yet I'd never forgive myself if he floundered in NY.... I doubt he will, and believe NY/Bosox are perfect fits for his style of pull hitting; however: fk t/Bosox.... I'd jump on Moose in lieu of re-signing Frazier; or will Trashman have the balls to say no to Frazier???
oh lordy seem's to me Jonah came on the BSPN boards, with multiple SN's..... He'd come in damn near troll the boards, aka chicknshitfkr.... then there was this classic Howard Stern, call in destruction of Jonah's self anointed public access radio show... Classic:
Jeff Passan‏Verified account@JeffPassan FollowFollow @JeffPassan More Sources: The New York Yankees are working on a deal to acquire starting pitcher Gerrit Cole from the Pittsburgh Pirates. Sides are talking, and while a final package has not come together, there is confidence. "A matter of when rather than if," one source said. 5:53 PM - 21 Dec 2017 Sounds like cole deal is done and going back is frazier plus which I'm guessing is adams.
More yankees have always loved gerrit cole, and maybe they work a deal eventually. but still hearing of one big holdup: pirates want gleyber to headline package, yanks want frazier to headline it. Thats not happening pirates.
...Jordan Montgomery's name has also been brought up as part of a trade, which hopefully ain't happening either. Monty makes peanuts and is under team control till 2024 and has already proven that he can pitch in the AL, whereas Cole has not...do the Yanx really thing that Cole is that much of an upgrade over Montgomery?
Lil, I suppose it's one of those "you had to be there" things...he used to post on the old espn message boards years ago and was the source of a lot of ribbing and verbal abuse on the boards and the Howard Stern show as well as his own short lived radio talk show...he was kind of a running joke on the message boards.
^^^^^ exactly....fk Cole. Below is a link of pro's and con's of obtaining Cole. I don't personally buy into t/pro's, and his arm is imo, very questionable as to fatigue and eventual TJ surgery or other surgery's..... Cole gave up 31 Hr's last year alone, that and his lifetime 3.50 era, makes me wonder what in the fk does Trashman see in this kid, that he's that adamant to obtain him. If Trashman lets Gleyber go, or Andujar, (for Cole), then there s/b hell to pay.... imo, Monty did pretty well for his first season. Like ya' said, he's already a proven MLB SP, who will/should, only get better with time and seasoning.... the pursuit of Cole, is beginning to get under my skin; and I smell a rat, this trade imo stinks (if made). Sure, Cole comes at a fairly cheap price. I guess Red Thunder is a practical trade for any SP, I just hope he doesn't develop into a Yankee Killer in yrs to come, IF he's ever traded back to the AL....(I can see that happening, maybe).... http://www.nj.com/yankees/index.ssf/2017/12/mlb_rumors_should_the_yankees_trade_for_pirates_ge.html
Yankees made Trade Offers for Chris Archer and Michael Fulmer both Rays and Tigers rejected them as per River Ave. Blues.
Antonio Cabello | Rank: 8 Hometown: Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar, Venezuela Position: CAge: 17 DOB: 11/1/2000Bats: R Throws: RHeight: 5'10'' Weight: 160 lb. Watch Scouting grades: Hit: 45 | Power: 50 | Run: 55 | Arm: 55 | Field: 50 Cabello could be the most athletic prospect on the international market this year. The teenager is known primarily as a catcher, but Cabello could also play second base and center field. He has a strong body and has been clocked at 6.45 seconds in the 60-yard dash. Cabello also hits in games and his makeup is considered off of the charts. He has built a reputation as a tough and hard-nosed competitor who hates to lose. Fellow Venezuelan catcher prospect Daniel Flores might be a better defender, but Cabello has also earned praise as a good receiver with solid catching and throwing abilities. Cabello has been praised for his ability to block balls and a quick release that gives him a chance to throw out even the best of potential basestealers. Cabello is still working on fine-tuning his overall offensive game, and like most prospects his age, he is working on his approach against secondary and offspeed pitches. Cabello trains with Francisco Ortiz in Venezuela.
Raimfer Salinas | Rank: 6 Hometown: San Felix, Bolivar, Venezuela Position: OFAge: 16 DOB: 12/31/2000Bats: R Throws: RHeight: 6'0'' Weight: 175 lb. Watch Scouting grades: Hit: 60 | Power: 50 | Run: 50 | Arm: 60 | Field: 50 For now, Salinas might be best known for his bat, but the rest of his tools are not far behind. In fact, there's a belief the young outfielder has the potential to be a legitimate five-tool player and an impact player in the near future. For starters, scouts like Salinas' body frame and its potential. He's also a sound defender and his plus arm is already an asset. Salinas is already a decent runner, whether it's on the basepaths or roaming the outfield, and there's a belief he will get faster. At the plate, Salinas has shown an advanced approach and good bat speed. He's been able to hit to all fields while also showing some home run power. Salinas' overall tools package could land him in the middle of the lineup one day as a possible run producer. Scouts like his makeup and his overall confidence in his abilities. Salinas trains with Francisco Ortiz in Venezuela.
