It has nothing to do with who is playing. It’s another example of critical plays not being handled correctly.

No he’s not. If he was that good he and Embiid would have a much better record. If you play guard you better be able to shoot.

Wasn't Simmons healthy this time last year?
I mean if he wanted to become a great player. Don't you think he'd work on his weakness to at least be able to shoot outside of 5 ft this off season?
I mean... He may or may not develop a jumper. But I can't say Simmons looks like he wants to be 'great'.

Only if he realizes his right hand is more dominant than his left.

This is his rookie year after being injured all of last season. But i'm sure he put up shots at some point during his rehab. Listening to any of his interviews he sounds driven, actually reminds me of Dame in interviews. He has a very high bbiq, extremely good court vision and passing ability, drives to the hoop really well and finishes at the rim. If Embid gets truly healthy and Simmons develops any kind of shot they will be dangerous. I would give up just about anybody on our team for Ben right now.

Dame don't hunt rebounds lol also would help if we actually had some shooters to get him over 10 assists more than a handful times a season

So Dame not getting 1 triple double in his career is better than guys who have because he doesn’t “hunt” rebounds?

If that’s not a bias comment I don’t know what it is

    All Blacks play Rugby Union.

Rugby Union (or just Rugby) is the original traditional game. Rugby League (or just League) is a derivation of Rugby Union, as is American Football.

Rugby is played professionally all around the world. League is basically only played professionally in two states of Australia (New South Wales, and Queensland), and the north of England (although Toronto now has a team).

Yes Simmons was 'injured' all of last year and philly didn't hold him out of games purposely to tank for a draft pick.
I guess you didn't get my sarcasm.
I wonder how Lillard, Wall, LBJ, KD, Westbrick, etc. Would take a team intentionally holding them out of games for a draft pick.
You're fooling yourself if you think Simmons took a full year to heal from jones fracture.

You know who also says all the right things when a mic is in front of his face? Evan Turner.

Triple doubles are pretty watered down now, there so much video evidence of players purposely going after them and their teammates helping them get it. They're a cool stat but I rather my teams players get triple doubles like LeBron gets them, in the flow of a game. More natural.

Yeah, because he doesn't steal rebounds from his bigs.

It's common knowledge that Westbrook hunts rebounds. That's not bias. Triple Doubles are for casual fans. A collection of stats that is hardly reflective of a players play. 10 points? Unimpressive. 10 rebounds from a guard? Only done by hunting rebounds and stealing rebounds from bigs. 10 rebounds from a big? Expected. The only impressive thing is the assists but that can be shored up by easy hit ahead passes and players getting hot which will add assists for a player but that player isnt making a difference compared to an average player of that kind.

Triple Doubles are also based on our numerical system. There's no bigger difference between the 8th and 9th rebounds as there is for the 9th and 10th rebounds. But Triple Doubles make it as such.

Triple Doubles are the cringiest stat in all of sports.

One thing I'll say was when Batum was a Blazer he had so many triple 9 games and never really cared about the extra digit...I always liked that about him
