I have no problem with your English Marz or anyone's grammar in an internet forum....as you shouldn't have a problem with my English teaching....snark breeds snark

Well. Teachers in general always cracked me up. From about 3rd grade on, some of us would know a different answer than they were looking for. 99 out of 100 would just say we were wrong. Not because we were, because they hadn't thought of a different answer.

They're almost always the type of people who would drive that hand made Lamborghini clone the guy built in his basement and complain that it pulls a little to the left.

    In GENERAL, I'm saying.

I don't know what teachers you had. I teach my students opened endedness...to think for themselves. I challenge them to think outside the box. If they can find different answers that work I applaud them. That is what teaching is about.

    Good for you.

Do you teach them what body of government makes Federal law?
    Should teachers know this answer?

Social Science and Government teachers should....Metal Shop teachers...who knows? Some will be independent and think outside the box...have a different value system as to local, state or federal laws and their relationships....I know federal laws haven't legalized cannabis yet....but my state has....you can move to a red state anytime and support the state laws as laws or stay in Oregon and ignore state law...this is freedom of choice..a truly American practice...see prohibition and how many americans weathered that shitstorm until someone other than the mafia could profit from it....which is more American....make something in your own earth with your own hands or supporting imported, untaxed consumables and medicinals...choices. I respect your right to not approve of the product....respect my vote

    I don't.

But then you already knew this. Your teaching about our government is another matter.

I'm not a history or law teacher. I don't teach politics. I teach ways of thinking. I am sure all teachers know the answer...and yeah they probably should.

    Oh my god!

Now we have a prime example of the sort of misleading information children should not be taught. You ignore the Constitution and slur the process to what you want rather than what is lawful process. You do it here, I expect you have with those you taught.

I wish I could say "No one I've known who's pretty developed mentally has had to tell people about it"...but sadly, I totally have.
