Alright so my wife has had it thru her work with a few coworkers. Account got shut down, so she got it for us. She just did it for the free shipping pretty much. I never really thought much of it, but started looking at the list of benefits and am intrigued by this. We already have Netflix, but I like the prime video option. So I put the Amazon video app on the iPad and it works great. But the Amazon Music app doesn’t recognize my prime membership when signed in. Tried trouble shooting and can’t get it to work. I thought I would get free access to music. Also, how do you use the Prime Reader option for books? Didn’t see an app for that. Wondering how that works. Any help would be much appreciated. Also, anything else you guys like or use or I should check out with the membership? Want to get the most out of it.
Also, i’d Be using this mostly on the iPad. Was hoping to access all this there on the apps and not go to amazon.com.
There's a free Prime music option. However if you want basically almost everything, you need to subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited. Also, some of the benefits will only show up on the primary account holder, not the others in the family sharing.
My guess would be apple wants all your music played through itunes because they are fascist monopolizing fucks and dont want to be compatible with anyone else.
I got the 30 day trial, ordered 3 things, only 2 were covered. Problem is it does not have third party coverage and that's how I get contact lens solution, my most frequent purchase. But later I ordered 3 items delivered same day, which was pretty cool. No shipping charge. Not sure if it's worth continuing, though.
Do you like to watch movies & tv? Do you have a smart tv or don't mind watching movies on a pc/Mac? https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/off...QiufNF7ZqeM6PK3Ex1QlzT3LIBBaK3WkaAhpTEALw_wcB Lot more too it than just free shipping.
The video section is great, and you can pay for different channels also like "acorn" which is mostly British tv and stuff like that. Lots of Baliwood too. Some of their original content is great too, like Grand Tour which is basically a reboot of Top Gear with all three original members. I share my account so that's nice, but I still think it's worth it if you order frequently online.
Really looking forward to the music streaming. I realized that the music is for PRIME members who are on annual plans. We are on the month to month, so my wife just changed that. We'll see if it kicks in at the end of the month.
What are you doing posting an hour before game time? Don't you have work to do, things to prep? Is this why the Keys to the game (Which started the season out so well, always before tip off and dropped the opponents keys to the game {Who gives a shit about the opponents keys to the game anyhow"????}) is now slacking and getting bumped into game time again? Missing free throws or being cut away short so you DON'T miss the free throw? Even a rookies know how to prepare.
A couple of things that I use: 1) Prime. Duh. For (IIRC) $79 a year or so the free 2-day shipping (and sooner, if there's a fulfillment center in your area with that item). Sometimes they bribe you with $5 coupons to "accept" 5-day regular shipping. Depends on the product. 2) Subscribe-and-save. There were a few things that I was ordering (or actually, buying from the grocery store) that end up being 20% off if you get them regularly. You need to have 5 items per month for the big bonuses to kick in. I have expensive tuna fish, almond butter, sponges, baby wipes, and then varying items over a few months like hand soap, dishwasher pellets, pellets for my grill, toothbrush heads, bar straws, etc... 3) If you read a lot of kindle stuff then Kindle Unlimited (for 9.99, iirc) basically makes the kindle a library. Not everything, but a lot of things. 4) Coupons. Find digital coupons. If you already have it for this month, cool. The last few years they've had a sale on Prime Memberships around MLK weekend
Then you might not find it to be a great value. I don't buy alot from amazon, or I should say I didn't used to. 10-20 times a year? and id say one third of the items I bought shipped third party and nullified my 2 day free shipping. In two instances I had to pay extra because I needed it in time, and I had at first just assumed everything shipped 2 day. When I found out something was a week out I had to pay $30 plus dollars to get it by that Friday for the weekend. Pretty much one third of my cost of prime annually. After that I cancelled it. Then the wife bitched me out because she watches movies on Prime while my band is rehearsing. Thats when I found out about the movies. We are now back on Prime of course. lol.
