Shabazz Napier is a great backup PG (starter quality for many teams) and POR may be willing to move him in spite of how great he's playing. He will be a restricted free agent next summer and due to the luxury tax situation POR may not be able to match any offers he gets.

If you take Harkless and Napier that's almost an exact salary match for Mirotic. If you also take Noah Vonleh, that gets the Blazers under the tax threshold. Vonleh and Napier are both in the final years of their contracts, but you would get their Bird rights. So, you would have the choice to either match any offers they get next summer, or let them walk. It would be your choice. You'd have half a season to see how well they fit your roster/system before making any decision.

    Sounds good to me.

I know Utah wants to move Burks, his salary is too high for us going forward in the rebuild. Napier would make since, especially if Bulls are looking to move Grant.

Tell me what you think of this, posted on twitter 2 days ago. I get feeling many of you would not like a pick included.

Noah and Moe is a good offer.

    I wouldn't trade a 1st unless it was a 2019 1st with Turner attached.

We don't need a stretch big. We have a 1000 of them. We need an athletic wing who can defend and shoot

the perfect trade is evan turner and 1st round for mirotic. Move back harkless for the starting lineup or put aminu on the 3 spot.

Shabazz is the 3rd ball handler we are looking for. We need him.

If Napier were the 1st ballhandler and Lillard was gone, all the other players would blossom as they did last night. But Stotts wants to hang every game on 48 minutes of Lillard.

Like who? Who's available on the trade market that checks those 3 boxes?

He's not on the trade market-- at least, he shouldn't be.

I was really hoping OKC would be worse off at this point so we could poach PG13.

Like nobody. But that doesn't mean we should make that trade. Getting Mirotic for Harkless and Vonleh would be regression in my opinion.

We have several free agents this summer and we can't afford to keep them all.

    Vonleh
    Nurk
    Bazz
    Davis

These are players that we could trade for something useful. That is unless you're looking for a repeat of a couple summers ago when we overpaid Harkless, Leonard, and Crabbe.

I don't know if he is on the trade market but a guy named Aminu might fill the bill.

If only he could play small forward, he'd be perfect.
