The solution is right in front of us. That couple with the 13 kids showed us.

Chain the little bastards up until they reach age 30 or so.

But as you know as a dad and with your job, kids can and do act impulsively. You see impulsive behavior more often in adolescents, but some children don’t completely grow out of it. Impulsivity is more than just actions, it can be thoughts and emotions as well. Sometimes parents simply don’t have enough of a read on their children to realize there’s a problem, and are you really going to throw some one in jail because they failed as a parent? At that point I feel like there’s likely already more grief than anyone should have to experience.

Highly controversial, but I believe he does have a valid point which could speak to the importance of religion to society. It’s a relatively new development that religion has been out of the class room.

Hell even the pledge of allegiance, which is much more recent...I remember stating the pledge of allegiance when I was in school. It’s all liberal arts free choice with very few lessons of discipline in today’s world. Somewhere along the line we redefined what constituted as too much discipline, and now you’d probably be fired if you even joked about whipping your students.

Well, in 1962 the Supreme Court decided that public (but not private) schools couldn't lead public prayers in school. That's not recent.

(I know the exact year because...my grandfather told me.)

With or without gun laws, not sure you could of prevented this fucker from getting hold of a gun. I don’t know the story so he either bought it off the streets or stole it from his parents. Neither of which have anything to do with gun laws. Once again, the main issue here is mental health. Why aren’t we talking about it? What makes a 15 year old do this? People tend to skip the reasons why somebody would do this and often just say “they’re crazy”. That’s dismissive of the problem. There are serious mental health issues in this country. Unfortunately I don’t think they will ever be addressed. Instead people will blame guns. Which is fine but you would be missing the real issue here wasting your time on that argument

"Nut job kids" might be the most offensive thing posted in a while. There are children out there who have severe mental disabilities.

Its not violence. It's correction. Kids need correction. It teaches them there are consequences when you act like a dip shit. They play all these video games full of violence and respawn when they die. They start thinking theres no consequences for mistakes. They get 12th place ribbons for being a fuck up instead of missing out and learning to succeed for good consequences and they never get punished for bad decisions.

I dont get why snowflakes will "punch nazis" that is to say anyone who doesn't stand by their politics, but correcting a child is violence?

Anyways. I dont really have to defend my position. Statistics prove it.

When you do something I don't like, I'll make sure to correct it by punching you in the face.

If you can't teach kids that there are consequences for their actions without hitting them, then you're probably a bad parent.

Not a popular opinion, but I hate organized religion. I don't judge people for what they believe in, but when they start to believe that others need to believe what they believe, it irks me.

Therefore, how is religion important to society?

That should be put away for the rest of their natural life. Our brains are like computers. You don't leave a shitty problematic computer in service at air traffic control and we shouldn't let malfunctioning psychos run around freely. Common sense.

This murderer should never be free. Should never be trusted. Crying and screaming he's sorry isn't good enough.

It's not hitting. You dont punch your kid. Not being able to tell the difference between hitting and correcting is the problem. Liberals dont get what they want and they throw a fit. See the recent government shut down. This behaviour is a result of not having a black grandma to slap the shit out of you when you threw a fit in the store when they told you no candy.

No mommy was progressive. As the child threw a fit mommy stood in line, and allowed the child his artistic freedom to express himself by knocking all the candy off the shelves. "It's ok hunny," she says to her beta cuck husband, "that's why they have mexicans to pick it up." Now mommy can think about more important things, like not shaving her arm pits and being more natural.

I'm not a gun nut, don't like them and have never owned one. Couldn't watch more than 30 seconds of that clip. There are plenty of reasons to have guns besides "fuck it I like it"

I agree he should be put away. He should also have had access to mental care. This country is not addressing the root of the problems. He's not a nut job. He's a boy who has a severe mental illness, either caused by trauma or just born that way.

Locking him up is something you have to do now, but maybe, just maybe, he could have been helped

Maybe. At what point in medical advancement could society trust a kid like that? You could get every current expert to say he's cured and I still wouldn't let him out.

Well, it seems you already answered your question.

Jesus will have a tough time having any impact on society with you on board.

See that's unfortunate you didn't watch it. Because he said if you keep a gun in a gun safe, it's no longer there for your protection. Anybody breaking into your house to "kill" you wouldn't let you take the time to go unlock the safe and get it. It actually was funny. He also said they need to change the name to Protection Rifle and not Assault Rifle.

I've seen it before. Watching it for a political opinion isn't an option.

The second amendment doesn't say to keep and bare arms in a gun safe.

Not only that there are plenty of times you could get to your gun safe before a criminal got to you. My mom's friend had a dog that never barked. They heard it bark one night and the husband got his gun from the safe and caught the guy. Held him at gunpoint.

See, the dog NEVER barked. It barked a time or two. Not even enough to scare the guy off. Just enough to alert the owner.
