If you don't want your opinions to be debated, use more facts to describe how you came to your conclusion.
No, of course there is no rule against it. I personally encourage differing opinions. It's the basis for discussion, and this is a discussion group. Disagreement is the coal that makes this train roll. If we all agreed, this forum would be a ghost town. My problem, and the reason I called you out, was you stated an opinion as if it were an irrefutable fact. If you go back and re-read your subsequent replies, you'll see than I'm not the only one that disagrees with your original statement (every other team in the league has at least 1 player better than C.J.). You disagree with yourself. You have modified and qualified your original hyperbolic statement multiple times. But no matter how you try to spin it, even you admit that it's simply not true. So, no problem with differing opinions, but if you state something that isn't true, or is a blatant exaggeration to try to overstate your point, expect to be called to task. In the end, it just weakens your case and undermines the credibility of your position. BNM
You keep confusing better player with better value. C.J. is a better player. Kemba is a better value. BNM
c'mon bro...everybody's posts are wrought with opinions....if people are in a pub talking hoops, they don't bring internet stats or articles supporting their opinions...nor should they need to prove these opinions.

No there was zero confusion there, he asked me if I thought kemba was better and I answered his post with they are probably a wash. I then asked him if cj offered 12 mil more of value.
this is not for you to dictate bro.......use all the facts you like but opinions have value and I welcome them
Your original hyperbole mentioned nothing about value. You keep trying to change to the argument. You're original statement was that every other team has at least one player better than C.J. Charlotte does not (nor does SAC, ATL, BRK, or several others). You want facts: www.basketball-reference.com. Knock yourself out. BNM
I don't agree with him about this but so what....he has the right to express his opinion about CJ...the simple response would be simply...I disagree
It's not a wash. Statistically, C.J. is a better player. Your original claim was that every team in the league has at least one player better than C.J. Change the question and of course the answer changes. So, of course, Kemba is a better value. He signed his extension before he had a breakout season and before the summer of 2016 and all the ridiculous contracts handed out that summer. It's unfortunate for Kemba that he was both a late bloomer and was born too soon to be a free agent at that exact right moment in history, but of all the contracts handed out during the summer of 2016, C.J. is one of the few players who has played well enough to justify his contract. BNM
That post has nothing to do with my 27 teams having better players, he asked me if I thought Kenmba was better and I answered him. The follow up question regarding his opinion on if cj was worth more than 12 mil more than kemba was a separate thought...ok?
Since when is this forum about simple responses? It would be a pretty boring place if all the replies were I agree and I disagree. BNM
I have yet to see anyone disagree that Kemba is a better value. I have yet to see a shred of evidence that he's a better player. BNM
It's pretty boring beating a dead horse about a difference of opinion...the guy just got here and he's already labeled a Tunchi...I don't think he's getting a fair shake ...that's all...there are several posters, you included who are excellent stat guys and provide detailed comparisons...not everyone is that guy nor needs to be...what I see is contentiousness more than discourse in this case
