Shit, I was at that game, sitting directly across the court from you and the Mrs. I remember your sprinkler dance on the jumbotron during a break in the action. Somethings, you just can't unsee. Your poor wife. The woman has the patience of a saint, AND is the butt of jokes around here.

BTW, congrats on marrying up (it's not like marrying down was even possible).

I actually read that article the day it came out. He had me going all the way to the end. Then I flipped it over and looked at the date on the front of the issue and just smiled. Mets fans completely fell for it. They so wanted it to be true.

I also read The Bogey Man when I was in high school. Completely fucked up my golf game. Talk about getting inside someone's head. He literally described what he was picturing in his mind during his swing. I couldn't get the image of a group of Japanese admirals inside his head shouting orders to the rest of his body during his swing out of my head. Much more distracting than the classic question you ask someone right before they hit their tee shot: "do you inhale or exhale on your backswing?".

Grantland Rice once, "Class is a very hard thing to define.... But once you see it, you never forget it." George Plimpton was all about class.

And a great writer. He pretty much invented participatory journalism. Also helped found The Paris Review.

When I think of great writers of the past like George Plimton, it just makes me despise assholes like John Canzano even more.

after Cousins got injured and LAC traded Griffin, theres no way we miss the playoffs, although we would make it anyway

were not going to play GSW in the first round, so its HOU or SAS, I dont believe we can make 5th seed, but maybe OKC fucks up

Time for them to trade everyone.
Butler is a scrub, KAT is trash and can't play defense, Wiggins sucks, Teague is past his prime.
Oh can't forget to blame Thibbs is the worst coach in the NBA. He's not creative offensively, and his defensive sets are trash. My grandma could gameplan against him.

Jabari Parker will make his debut this Friday. Although he will probably play very limited minutes it will be interesting to see if that explosiveness is still there.

Hey @HCP, what year was that. I know it's been quite a while, because my kids were still in elementary school. That are all in college now.

Hate to see Mason Plumlee with the injury tonight. Nugs will suffer if he's out for long.

Tyler Dorsey came off the bench to have decent game for the Hawks. I'm happy the Ducks are doing well but I wish we had at least drafted one of them!

I wonder what the rate of injuries is this year, with the (slight) change in scheduling, compared to years past.
