Thank you for carry us in this game CJ, im a huge fan of you and dame. If you hit that shot people will call you guys ''CLUTCH BROTHERS''. You got the next one. Good thing you got hot this game CJ, Im pretty sure you will have your first 50p game this season
I'm totally torn about CJ. He may be my favorite Blazer to watch, but we need to improve, and I think he is our most obvious asset, particularly as our one blowout win this season was without him. On the other hand, who would give us anything for him that would be an improvement on the team with him? The only possibility I can see is Cousins (because the twin towers isn't delivering wins in New Orleans and they worry he'll just walk) but wouldn't that undercut Nurkic? Or can Cousins be a super-duper Vonleh for Nurk? The only other possibility is Philly, particularly if they think Fultz is a problem (injury-wise or fit-wise) and they have some nice assets, but the only players clearly on CJ's level or above are Simmons and Embiid and there's no way they'd consider trading either of those. Oh, and I guess NY, because I really like Ntilikina, but I think they're happy to rebuild and might not be interested.
Like I have said before, I think we are fine with the current back court. The issue here is the players surrounding them. We don't have legit wings. We NEED legit wings. Get some on this team and watch these close games we lost become wins.
My personal favorite is the and-1 he got on Parsons. That was adding insult to injury. I also want to note how much your english has improved, man. Props!
We should not include him in any trade package. The proof was his leadership in the SA game last night. On that last drive he had options for a pass off to a wing but noticed a turnover in the making, then promptly dropped a nice 6 footer to win the game. I like aggressive players who take the throttle, especially when Dame was out of the lineup.
On the radio this morning, CJ said that he was wearing a new pair of Li Ning's last night. IT'S GOTTA BE THE SHOES!!
