I just don’t like his contract and overall fit. I kinda think he’s overrated.

That Windhorst guy is just randomly speculating based on the report that the Blazers inquired. If we lose Nurk to overpay Jordan I'll riot.

Dame, and CJ are terrible at throwing lobs, so it's a pass for me.

I don't know how it could happen, but I think Jordan would fit well with Cleveland.

He's a beast, but so was Nurkic before the weak Stotts style hit him. Jordan will wear that dress a lot more here.

The Lakers could trade Lopez and Randle and a pick for him..wouldn't have to move..just change jerseys

I'd prefer just keeping Nurkic. However, if it does go down, you can basically say that we traded Mason Plumlee for DeAndre Jordan and Zach Collins. And you can't really complain about that too much.

I could be wrong, but I think this is all talk just to drive up the asking price to trade him to Cleveland.

I know you're making a joke, but it's clearly not true about Nurk.

    Den - 7.5 pts @ 45.8%, 5.9 reb, 1.1 ast
    Por - 14.5 pts @ 48.2%, 8.9 reb, 2.1 ast

Looking at his Per 36 stats, his scoring is up 4 points in Portland, and everything else is minutely down.

None of that says that Nurkic was a beast in Denver, and has been poor in Portland.

Again, I know you're just making a joke, but I want to nip that stereotype in the bud before it starts.

It’ll confirm one thing to me; Olshey lucked into Nurkic and really is a moron.

Yeah, because Olshey has never acquired a player that was off the radar and turned out to be a good fit.

Who? Nurk is pretty much the only one worth anything and I wouldn’t even say he was off the radar.

    I guess Napier.

RoLo and Plumlee were two guys that weren't highly thought of and ended up being really good fits.

    Plumlee, Davis, Aminu, Nurkic, Napier.

Even Vonleh has been decent, not great, but decent. He has performed in the minutes he's gotten, he just doesn't get that many minutes because we're deep at the 4.

Turner is his only real strike out.

What realistic players could we include in a trade?

Nurk + Turner seems most logical.

If it were just a trade of those two, I'd do that trade every day of the week.

They only way I take Jordan is if LA takes Turner and Myers with Nurk. They aren’t gonna do that and we aren’t adding another HORRIBLE contract. Jordan will be a Cav.

Nurkic was a beast late last season, had a summer of Stotts-system indoctrination to unlearn his Euro style, and returned with a weaker inside game.

He got worse in almost all per-36 columns from his Portland games of last season. Except a tiny (0.7, not 4.0) increase in points, caused by the Stotts-induced worsening in FGA (which lowered FG%).

Meyers was much more of an inside player when he first arrived as well. A year in to Stotts system and he turned into Myle who only shot '3's.
