We seem to be at this position where we end up shunning anyone that has or may have had personality issues in the past.

I understand the thought, but if Neil really believed in Stotts and the culture we've built in Portland, we should be able to take some of these players and integrate them into our system without triggering their negative personality traits.

One player I'd like to see us go after right now....Terrence Jones. He has had issues with his attitude in the past but when he's played, he's always been productive. Sign him to a 10-day and see how he does. Super low risk high reward type of move.

It's Paul Allen's fear of Canzano and the moralists on this board.

They already stripped the cupboard pretty bare...who do they send for Bradley? They can't trade a pick until 2022, they'd probably need to send two of Abrines/Singler/Patterson (all of whom are multiple year contracts) unless they send Roberson himself, which seems unlikely.

I mean, sure, OKC probably wants a bunch of help. HOU really wanted to get Melo this summer. Didn't/Couldn't really happen.

Why not just do this trade and lock up Bradley? Helps them now, while PG is still on the team.

I’d take Roberson for 3 more years at 9 mil per! Bradley is gonna get more than that in fa. They are both known primarily for their D so I’m not real sure paying more for Bradley in the long run is the best move if u could just have Roberson locked up cheap.

Roberson seems like a move that a contender wants not a rebuilding team. Roberson is one hell of a defender but his offense is worse then Tony Allens. I guess I can see this move if LAC moves him next year.

Bradley is the much better player though. You don't give up the much better player just to secure a mediocre player coming off a serious knee injury.

You do if you don’t want to be in a bidding war for a player you really don’t need at the beginning of a rebuild, and getting a lockdown wing defender locked up for 3 years at only 9 mil isn’t bad.

If the Clippers are rebuilding, why would they put any value in Roberson? They could get a pick for Bradley, and that's a better return than Roberson. I think they're going to attempt to build around Harris and Bradley. Both are still 25/26.

If the pistons didn’t wanna build around those 2 why would the clippers?

I can’t think of a team who will give up a 1st round pick for a 3 month rental. As far as Roberson, even if they are rebuilding, at 9 mil a year what’s wrong with that? They still gotta suit up players and he’s s good wing defender on a cheap contract.
