Yes, the article is completely sympathetic to the position in which Olshey now finds himself. By lowering our expectations, the article prepares us for an Olshey failure at the trade deadline.

That’s not the ‘good’ Zeller right? It was rumored Milwaukee was in the market for a big man. That can’t be what they settled for, right?!

Tyler Zeller is Cody’s older bro. Tyler came in the league at the same times as Myers did IIRC. But what @yuyuza1 said.....

Pistons had 36 assists... Blazers only 18, and that’s a high total for them. Seriously, we could have easily had Blake Griffin if we offer CJ... Blake was exactly what this team needed. This clown Olshey is happy being mediocre and taking the fans money.

How does swapping CJ for Griffin take us to another level? Our role players are the problem, and in this scenario, we don't change any of them...

Role players are the secondary issue... how can you not see Dame and CJ don’t fit together. You like watching 2 guards play iso ball and take half the teams shots??? Blake Griffin is basically another PG on the court

Anyone who puts CJ in the same box as Dame shouldn’t really be taken seriously.

Not in the same box....but too similar when they are both undersized. Both ball dominant and neither a very good defender.

    Yeah, no.

Lillard isn’t undersized, nor ball dominant (although he’s a point guard, so the ball SHOULD be in his hands) nor a bad defender, but whatever your agenda says.

I read that earlier as well. I have no idea why Neil wouldn’t at least engage in talks. He probably has but I’d rather build an even more irrational hatred for him.

He would open up sooo much spacing for us. There’s a difference between a guy that can shoot and a shooter, Hood is a shooter and I mean that in a good way.

Lillard has never been ball dominate and unwilling to pass the ball his entire career.
Lillard 17-18 is far from a bad defender, he's an average defender at worse this year.

Considering what he has around him he should be more selfish, not less. I don’t think I ever come away from a game thinking wow dame played selfish. CJ? Pretty much every game.

With CJ as our two, I think we should be looking for someone with a little more size (either strength or length) than Hood to play SF.
