Wilson Chandler is available. I remember Olshey reportedly wanted him a couple of seasons ago but went with Afflalo instead because Denver’s asking price was too high. He’s struggled this season but maybe they’d swap him for someone like Harkless. He also becomes an expiring next season if he picks up his player option.

You DO understand that the majority of the time, if you hear about the trade it's already dead. Maybe not hearing anything, means something might actually go down.

I think since there are so many sellers, the teams that are buying have their pick of deals and will wait until the last minute to pull the trigger.

True... but even hearing about deals that fell apart shows he is trying. With complete silence he could be sitting on his hands doing nothing.

You mean like how we heard about the nurk trade before it happened?

There were absolutely no links to Nurk outside of some fans (me included) posting about it.

The only rumored link I remember was Okafor, but I’m not sure about that one either, that could’ve been speculation as well.

I want Wes Matthews back in Portland. Send Dirk here too, not that they'd do it. Give them Meyers to be the new Dirk and Harkless.

    Dame/CJ/Turner/Dirk/Nurkic
    Napier/Wes/PC/Aminu/Ed

Matthews would be so awesome. I might even consider giving up our first as long as they took on Moe and Meyers.

You want us to trade for a 6’4” small forward, who is 32 years old, has torn his Achilles, shoots 40% fg, and makes 19 mil per year... what is wrong with you man... wow

I love how just because some asshole is hitting F5 on Twitter all day and seeing nothing exciting, it clearly means that our GM is not taking or making ANY calls, and quite obviously is doing nothing at all. It was this same shit last deadline and we landed nurk and a 1st. But because we hear of so and so linked to who's and what, but not us, it means Neil is asleep.

I'm not holding out hope for a franchise saving trade, but jesus, some people on here.

Some organizations are tight lipped, NO run teams have been tight lipped with almost no leaks his entire time as a GM of both the Blazers and Clippers, and then there are some that don't give a rats ass and EVERYTHING leaks out. Just because there are no rumors does not mean that NO is not active it simply the norm for NO run teams.

Pretty impressive how you managed to get at least four of those wrong.

This is pretty much the only CJ trade that I like. Gotta hope the Cavs do something dumb:

3-way with Sac, Cle, and Por

    Sac gets IT and Shump
Cle gets CJ, George Hill, Aminu, and Davis
Por gets Love, Tristan Thompson (or JR Smith whichever they want to rid themselves of), and the Brooklyn pick

I think Hill and CJ would be a really nice compliment to each other. They are an absolute dumpster fire right now and a trade like this gets a bunch of the malcontents off their team and gives them a really solid lineup.

Starters: Hill, CJ, Crowder, LeBron, and Frye (or Thompson if they kept him instead of JR)
Bench: JR (or Frye if Thompson is still starting), Rose, Aminu, Davis, Korver, Jeff Green
That seems like a pretty nice upgrade to me. Even when LeBron leaves they’d still have Hill and CJ to build around.

The Cavs probably wouldn’t do it but it’s fun to think about. Maybe LeBron chewing out their GM will change things.
