I can see Vonleh being dumped for nothing but tax relief, and maybe Shabazz for a second rounder, or maybe there's a taker for Harkless, but I really don't think the Blazers are going to be all that interested in taking on salary, and I also doubt Olshey and Allen are willing to part with draft capital just to dump some of the bad contracts.

I feel like the clippers have no idea what they are doing and what a rebuild should be or look like

That's a bad move for LA. He's a journeyman combo guard.

If we get TT every Blazer highlight package will start with a shot of Chewbacca sitting in the stands, no thanks.

    CJ/2nd rounder for Love/BKN pick

That’s the only non Lebron trade I do with Clev, unless they wanna include Shump for Hark too, and I only do that cause Shump has 1 less year on his deal.

I posted that 2 for 2 yesterday and it works in the trade machine.

Right now that's the 8th pick in the draft.

Frankly, I'd rather see if we could do CJ for Middleton/Parker.

Cavs won't do that though, they'd need more back. Taking on JR or TT would make it more realistic.

It's only 1.5 games out of the #1 pick though. It looks like #8 will be as bad as it will be as they are 4 games up on #9. A top-5 pick in this draft is a potential game changer plus we'd have our pick in the low to mid teens.

If we trade CJ in a Love package I think it will be two top 10 or higher picks, Love isn’t playing for awhile and without CJ 3/5 of our starting lineup would be better suited as bench players.

I don't think they want to do a full blown rebuild. They seem to want to acquire additional young pieces while maintaining a core that is competitive.

Bradley and Jordan should still be up for sale.

Looking at the standings it would probably be around 12.

Can you imagine getting two stud wings like either Doncic or Porter and Mikal Bridges or something like that?

Starters: Dame, Bridges, Doncic or Porter, Love, and Nurk (re-sign)
Bench: Napier (re-sign), Connaughton (re-sign), Harkless, Collins, and Tristan Thompson
    Deep Bench: Turner, Leonard, Swanigan

You could upgrade the bench with the TPE and/or the tax-MLE.

Now that would be a fucking exciting team with huge potential and we'd have all our future picks still for trades.

Yes I can imagine that, I just think that BKN pick will be top 3 and after that trade, between our schedule and team moral, we would go down in flames the rest of the season and our pick would be top 8. I’m a dreamer.

Right now nbadraft.net has porter and donic going 3 and 4, with a little luck in the lottery or a complete collapse after that trade we could be set up for the next decade. I don’t think we have to worry about the BKN pick, it’s gonna be high.

I want porter badly. I was at the Husky game Saturday and the unicorn from Arizona looks good too but I’m guessing he goes number 1.

No chance at anything higher than 10. They are 11.5 games ahead of 8 with 28 to play. With Porzingis going down tonight we won't pass the Knicks either. Getting to 10 means the Lakers and Hornets passed us which is unlikely but for the sake of your argument lets say one does and one doesn't.

That puts us at 11. 10 is best case scenario. Like I said, 12 is the most reasonable prediction. It could get lucky and jump into the top-3 though.

That’s what I’m counting on. It will be like that one time, except we won’t take Oden:)

And we'd have the Brooklyn pick too. Doncic AND Porter!

    With a 23 year old Nurk and 20 year old Zach, D Y N A S T Y.

Imagine how good those 4 would be together in 4-5 years.

And if we really wanna dream since Dame will have 5-7 years on those 4 guys we can trade him in his contract year for a pg that fits the new timeline or another top 5 pick to take the best pg of that years draft.

    lol, sounds like a plan
