Skjei regressing is probably the most disappointing of the things this year. Hopefully it's just a sophomore slump and a result of the defense as a whole sucking.

He's mostly regressing because AV's system is retarded and he won't change it. He refuses to try and develop any stay at home defenseman. The fact DeAngelo is playing over Graves is a disgrace.

Do we have any connections in FLA so one of those teams can gift us a top player in his prime like Capt Jete did? That'd certainly speed up and rebuild for us.

Honestly, they completely lucked out that this happened this year. They have 2 perfect rentals for late first rounders in Nash and Grabner. They also have McDonagh coming to the end of his contract with one year still left and the chance to trade him to the Oilers for what might be a top 7 pick in a draft loaded with elite defenseman prospects.

I wish man. I was more referring to a couple years ago when the Yanks traded Chapman and Andrew Miller for good prospects and then resigned Chapman.

If they can deal McDonagh to the Oilers, they might actually have a chance at two top 7 picks, plus 2 late first rounders. That would be exactly what they need for a quick rebuild.

We are going to pick 5th most likely, so we have a shot at the lottery as well. I am not sure why NJ Cup is so happy about. Enjoy your Devils, what do you want with Rangers? I don't give a shit if Devils win, lose, disappear, I don't think about Devils at all. I just don't care, not sure why NJCup cares so much.

Because he is and always has been a fucking loser. Devils fans aren't real fans. They really don't care about their team. All they care about is the Rangers. That's because their fan base was made up from assholes who just picked the opposite team to piss off their friends who were Rangers friends. Devils are no contender. Essentially they have an injury prone 30+ year goalie and an average defense at best. Let the dope have his brief moment. Rangers with the right deals should rebound. Unlike the Devils who have crap in the system for goaltending since Blackwood turned to crap, the Rangers actually have 2 legit goalie prospects who will be the successor to Hank. I'm just looking at the incompetent stupidity of the Devils rushing and ruining their prospects. They are on their way to ruining Zacha because they're stupid. Bratt and Hischier should be in the AHL and juniors working on and rounding out their game. We've seen many players come up, have 40 points as rookies and then regress who were that young.

Said for a while that Columbus is the team we should be looking at. Torts is on his way to ruining several young players. Wanted Jenner a while back and I hear he's available. He's excellent on draws. He's big, physical and has scored 30 goals once. He's an actually NHL player unlike some of the scrubs we are currently using. I'm not so sure you couldn't get him and a 3rd for Holden. However, I would suspect Jenner and a first for Grabner makes more sense. However, I'm not so sure that team hasn't quit on Torts. He's getting fired after this season. That team has way to much talent to be only 5 games over .500.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nash go to Dallas for a 1st and a prospect like Shore, plus maybe another lesser piece. Johns is a decent bottom pair dman maybe they could throw in. I wonder if a team like Vegas would be into Grabs for a 1st, though i think they are into getting D. Holden i could see going to Minnesota with Brodin out.
