None of the contracts the Cavs moved were like the boat anchors the Blazers have saddled themselves with in Harkless, MyLe, and Turner. They have very few movable assets when, unequivocally, they say that they aren't willing to part with CJ.
Nope. Just sad and I can't lie to myself like some who keep telling themselves Portland does nothing wrong. I mean if that makes you feel good like it did over at O-Live, then more power to you.
I guess I didn't make myself clear. I absolutely blame Olshey for the mess he made, but I also realize that they couldn't really do shit this deadline because of the mess he made.
New coach and GM. Go with Virginia's highly successful coach, Tony Bennett, and let him transform this team. This is not a popular opinion, however, I'd say everybody is up for grabs and truly rebuild the foundation of team while acquiring high quality picks over the next 3 to 5 seasons.
No, I get you blame him as well. That wasn't a knock towards you. And as far as their wasn't shit that could have been done, Neil himself said he tried but all those rumored players available turned out not to be available....lol.
Oh don’t worry Neil said he wasn’t interested in any of the players moved before the deadline either which means he wasn’t interested in Harris, Griffin, Bradley, Hood, Crowder, Wade, Mirotic, or Clarkson. So jokes on those loser teams that actually traded for those scrubs.....
I don't care that he mocked me or whatever, I just don't like that he can be a fucking strenuus and only my post responding to him gets flagged. It's one thing to joke around but he's been an strenuus for years, I should be able to call him out on it. There I edited it myself.
He was asked if anyone "traded today" was someone he was interested in and he said no. That wouldn't include Blake Griffin, Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, or Mirotic.
To be quite frank, I don't know your history with each other on O-live. But from what I read, I edited what I saw as a personal insult. If there was a deeper insult by him, it didn't resonate as much as yours did. Let bygones be bygones. Kumbaya and all.
It will be hard to watch this team rest of the season. But worse thing is it will be very hard to Lillard too. The way organisation treats him would be good for Westbrook. Imagine how fine Brick woul be here: "No help for you captain, but you are the best - take us to the playoffs." "Ok! Thats great!". And imagine Lillard getting help from PG or Durant. So was this shit about Dame and Paul meeting? Coffee and Will Burton? Dame could be bit disappointed with this team and it's a shame for Blazers. Why you want free agents to come here. This team can do nothing good for years. What would you come here? And the worst thing is "they" explore Dame for nothing this year. He will score 50 at times and put this team on his back again and again and for nothing. At this point he could play easy minutes as well cos there's no point of riding his health for no reason.
