I like all the different opinions (it is what make this board great, and it would be boring if we all agreed) but I also have to say haven't we learned enough from the "CJ is horrible" thread that it is prudent to be a little more patient? Unless eating crow is fun I guess.
Get ready for the Zack Attack next season or maybe the playoffs? If Mark Few say's he's going to be a very good pro I believe it!
The snarky former high school coach? I kid; I kid. We all know you're a big lovable teddy bear under that gruff exterior, MM.
Exactly. I went back and read a thread from a few years back where people (who shall remain anonymous so as not to unduly embarrass them) were hoping that CJ might evolve into "Lillard-lite" so that he could be traded for a needle-mover such as Asik. That would have moved the needle, alright. Just not in the direction that we'd hope for.
Not given up, just lowered my expectations. With respect to Butters, in that case I have given up any hope whatsoever. (heck, had already given up hope and cringed when they gave him his current contract - ugh!)
Besides Tatum and Bam, how many of those players are on teams who currently will make the playoffs? My point is, like the ROY award, it is easier for rookies on shitty teams to shine their first year.
