I saw 3 different clips of him supposedly saying that, but he was quite clearly speaking exclusively about people already determined to be mentally ill (due process). More Fake News about his clumsy way of throwing thoughts together.
He took 3 positions that I heard that had nothing to do with the mentally ill. 1) raise the age limit to purchase assault weapons 2) He said he was against the right to carry concealed weapons across state lines. 3) He supports background checks on ALL gun purchases
