So they can move Meyers to small forward where he'll get more minutes to take advantage of the team leading swish3 shooter to make about 6 additional 3 point shots. This adjustment can help the Blazers toward the 112 points/game that would likely mean wins. It does not make sense to me to leave this talent on the bench.

Why not just sign Rush to another 10 days

Papa was a lottery pick two years ago, and rush was drafted in 1754 and is, by all evidence, 97% broken.

The blazers might as well just sign members of S2 to 10 day contracts. It'd be a dream.

And some of us are just delusional enough to think we deserve them too.

Well its not like papgiannis is gonna play. Rush didn't. Why can't it be us sitting on the bench?

This is a great signing. No risk with possible high reward. Papagiannis is 7’2”, can really shoot the ball, and is only 20 years old.

Signing me would have been lower-risk.

How high can any reward possibly be? It's a 10-day contract. We won't hold his Bird rights. If he actually plays (doubtful) and plays well, at the end of 10-days he will be a free agent and can sign anywhere he pleases. Let's assume he plays well (a big assumption), the most we could offer him and stay under the luxury tax is the prorated min. If he does play well, there are other teams that aren't over the cap and bumping up against the luxury tax threshold that could offer him more.

This is basically a no risk, no reward signing. We had to sign someone. Might as well be him...

Sorry it came across that way, that's not what I was claiming. I was purely talking on your love of Greek players.

Do you still follow Kostas Papanikolaou, where is he these days? I still think he was overrated, but I appreciated your entusiasm for him.
