    Nowhere near a "top" anything.

If the quality of play had not been so sub par, there would not have been a reason for a strong comeback.

I agree with everything you wrote. Dame is a very special player and his will to win in very Jordanesque (note: before someone with poor reading comprehension jumps my shit, I did not say Lillard is as good as Jordan, I just compared one aspect of their personality/demeanor).

But, that's not what the OP asked:

Was Damian Lillard’s fourth quarter performance one of the best Blazers moments of all time?

It was another great individual performance, but it happened in a regular season game, in early March, against a lottery team. There have been MANY "better Blazer moments" (not the same thing as great individual performances). All four wins against PHI in '77 were "better", as was the 4-game sweep of the Lakers in the WCF that same year. Game 7 SAS and Game 6 PHO in 1990. Hell, even Game 1 of the PHO series that year (Duckworth hit the game winner with his hand is a cast) was a better team moment. I know he's a pariah around here, but Aldridge's Game 1 and Game 2 performances against HOU, as well as Lillard's 0.9 second series clincher in 2014 were more significant. Pretty much any come from behind win in a playoff game, or any win that clinched a playoff series are "better Blazer moments".

I'd also vote for the comeback win (I think it was a 32-point turnaround over the final 15 minutes of the game) against PHI in December, 2007 that kept the 13-game winning streak alive, or even Martell Webster's 24-point quarter against UTA with Brandon Roy sitting out the second half andthe miracle minute against DAL back in 2002 were all up there in terms of best regular season TEAM moments.

When Dame got his 43rd point, his difficulty range was as thrilling as a basketball fan could hope for. Thanks for the vid post. Appreciate!

Not unless you want to include it in a top 25 list. I mean it's got to overcome, Walton's effort in our championship game, Brandon Roy's game winning shot after a timeout with a fraction of a scond to go, Hollin's efforts when we were behind by seven points before the three point shot with 12 seconds left and they had the ball, or Lillard's game and series ending shot at the end of the game against Houston after a time out with a fraction of a second to work with, just to name a few. However it was thrilling and deeply satisfying. I could go on about how Petrie did game after game after game or the brilliant play of Lenny Wilkins our player-coach but I'll leave it at that.

We used to have raucous crowds in the old Memorial Coliseum that would put our best current crowds to shame.

Don't feel bad, my little brother was older than you.

And I predicted 55 wins. I bit optimistic? Well, that's my middle name and especially when it comes to the Blazers.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dame has that quote tattooed to the inside of his eyelids so he reads it while he sleeps.

I was at that game. In the third quarter I wanted to leave but my wife convinced me to stay. i told her if we went down by 30 I was leaving. We got down by 28... but then things changed. I cried. I screamed, "Take us home, Brandon!" I hugged strangers. It was intense.

How about this quote from the bald one’s column from one month ago, when he was urging Olshey to pick one of Lillard and McCollum for a deadline trade:

“But I'm convinced they fall flat when cast in roles as "Batman and Robin." Lillard and McCollum are more like "Robin and Robin."

The dude is a basketball genius.

When we win the championship, and Dame says "this is for all the haters who doubted us" on Twitter, Canzano will be the first to say he personally motivated Dame to become great.

Yes, it was one of the best Blazer moments of all time. Not sure why people are so reluctant to agree. Who cares if it was against a lottery team? Who cares if it was the regular season? It was a brilliant shooting display by Lillard that saved the game, preserved the winning streak, and kept us in the hunt for a playoff spot and maybe even home court advantage in the first round. And it was AMAZING. Not sure I’ve ever seen a player hit that many 3-point shots in a row in the last minutes of an important game—and every shot was a thing of beauty. I was just glad I got to see it.

I think too there’s a massive three point shot for everyone. Love the long range bomb? Here’s one from the S of the logo. Love fancy footwork? The step back is for you! Love the sudden stop and launch? That first one has got you covered. Last second sidestep heroics? That fourth three, my man.

Dame is special, and when he goes into the zone like that it’s always a Great Blazer Moment.

It was a great game. But I have seen other great shooting games - in one game v GSW Sabonis shot 100%. Every field goal, every free throw. Also remember Terry Porter's 40 points v GSW, they finally tried to triple team him, which left Kersey & Drexler wide open. While fun, and exciting. to be "greatest moments of all times" the performance needs to either 1) win a playoff game or 2) get the team into the playoffs.

Because, sad fact, how many people remember great individual regular season game performances after a few years? But will we every forget Roy v. Dallas or 0.9?

I also put Roy's 0.7 second 30-foot buzzer beater over Houston, and the Dame-led 4Q comeback over the Thunder a couple January's ago in the same category.
