Was Damian Lillard’s fourth quarter performance one of the best Blazers moments of all time?

The quality of play is what made Dame’s shooting display necessary. The game was lost until he took matters into his own hands. That’s what great players do when everything is on the line. To denigrate Lillard’s performance simply because the team had allowed itself to fall behind is ridiculous. If the team hadn’t fallen behind there would have been no need for his heroics!

The Roy one had a special degree of difficulty for fans. Roy puts us up. HOU calls TO. We stupidly foul Yao, who puts them up with an and-one. Timeout. Roy totally redeems himself. like 5 minutes of life for 2 seconds of play. Up!!! Down....Cool off....UP!!11!!

I too don’t want to undervalue Dame’s efforts against the Lakers the other night but I thought his aforementioned heroics against the Thunder (such a “suite” game) was more impressive because it was against a much better team. But then my thinking might have been dazzled by the raucous company I was keeping that night. Or maybe I’ve just come to expect performances like that from Dame......

I also really enjoyed Lillard beginning the 2016 post-allstar break FU tour (Lillard
wasn't selected to the allstar team) by destroying GS.
The Blazers were 27-27, GS was 48-4. Lillard scored 51, had 7 steals and 6 assists,
Blazers won by a LOT (Lillard didn't have to play the last 4.5 minutes).

If you like David vs. Goliath...
If you like Lillard going off...
If you like to remember the FU tour...

    Remember this:

You seem to exempt Dames play. The entire team, including Dame, played poorly. Jacking up bad shots, lazy passes, not rotating on D. Think about it, till he took over with a few minuets to go, he only had twenty points, and it is not like he had not touched the ball. Had the team played with half the passion that they displayed in the last few minuets, the game would never have been in question.

Barrett pulled a Howard Dean when Dame hit the Heat Check for 49.

Have to give Hurd and Calabro credit, though...that Miracle two minutes where Dame was hitting everything Calabro had the right mix of the call and the emotion, while Lamar brought the understated comedy.

"Oh, you know how this is going to go down..." (Swish)
"Oh, he's not messin' around right now." (32' swish)
    "ah hahaha hahaha!"

You know, I'm just not a Calabro fan, but he did nail it that time.
