You mean somewhere there’s a forum with about 2/3 above average posters to even things out?

The sample size is statistically insignificant. Therefore, any conclusions based on the sample size are meaningless.

We have a much larger, statistically relevant sample size of how the team has performed with Dame on the court. With the possible exception of the 2014-15 season, which was derailed by injuries, the team with Dame on the court, has consistently outperformed the "expert" expectations and projections.

Seriously, most of the preseason projections and power rankings had the Blazers finishing last in the NW division this year. They are currently in 1st place in the NW Division. Two years ago, the consensus odds were 28 wins. They won 45. Dame was their best player and their leader both times. If anyone wants to somehow "blame" him for the team playing "better" when he's out, they also need to give him a lot more credit for how much the team has overachieved relative to expectations.

Anyone who has actually watched a significant number of Portland Trail Blazer games over the last six seasons, and honestly thinks the Blazers would be better without Damian Lillard is honestly, an idiot.

Or are they playing better because the mood of the team improved?

When were conclusions presented? I asked a question... It's entirely possible that Dame is the answer to the question, and that he's been the reason for the improved spirits of the team.

The knee jerk, ultra-defensive reaction of the intelligent Portland fans is the reason why the team is petrified of making risky moves...imagine how the stats-deprived masses respond.

You're still implying that Dame had a negative affect on team morale? Because of a very small sample size where they played defense and then struggled afterwords and got down because of those struggles (were in no way Dames fault)...

And then you want to call out others for knee-jerk reactions? Lmao.

And not only that, but somehow the people that defend Dame from baseless implications based of small sample sizes and the false assumption the correlation equaled causilty us why the front office is afraid to make moves? Huh?

If Portland does not erect a statue somewhere of Damian Lillard and make it 100 feet high, then they have failed this man.

    Make it happen, Paul!
