Maybe a MOD can make a special thread where we can talk about tonight’s game? Just an idea.........

Who in their right mind would think this would be an EASY win?

I have a terrible feeling about this

GS was already motivated to beat us. They do not want to lose two straight to ANYONE and they were going into someone’s building that has won 8 straight

Now they’re going to rally around Steph’s injury and play like they’re the underdogs or some dumb shit like that

Durant goes for double nickel tonight

    Klay 30

    Draymond triple double

Of course I hope I’m dead wrong and an idiot

Do you have one for Anthony Davis? It would be nice if he sat out tonight to rest up his injured ankle.

I don’t think MM was saying that. He was reminding those that we played about 6 teams in the first 1/4 of the season without their best player and we lost...... a bunch at home if I’m not mistaken. Thats all he was saying.

I don't think that's what he's saying at all, but best to let him clarify. He's most likely including players like Jimmy Butler and Steph Curry in his injured stars that have missed games against POR list.

I REALLY doubt if he's saying that. If we lost those games, how does that make us lucky?

I brought it up earlier in THE ACTUAL GAME THREAD.....because I swore I saw somebody say this should be and “easy win” now. Which is foolish on so many levels and especially because we have played quite a few teams without their best player and still lost....at home. Guess I shouldn’t try to speak for MM huh?

Well that's clearly not what he posted but then again, I'm not sure if I speak or understand MM language. lol

How could we be lucky if he meant we didn't win games against teams early in the season when they were missing a key player(s)

Two different things. MM didn't say this should be an easy win, he said we've been fortunate to face so many teams missing an injured star.

Its clear MM is saying our record is inflated and we aren’t for real and to quit getting excited because the team is still kinda crappy because we occasionally play teams without their best players.

Running through a query of games missed by players who were 15ppg+ scorers last year and had a VORP over 2.0. There were 35. So far through the first 10, there are a cumulative 139 games missed, with 6 of those being against Portland, tied for 4th most in the league. As I complete the research, I'll update my findings...

Really? Did JinxSpeed take over your account? Arguing just to argue? All he means by using the term “lucky” is that we were given and easier opportunity than other teams. We played a bunch of teams without their stars is all. We were LUCKY they didn’t suit up......our team shit the bed and didn’t capitalize on the LUCKY opertunity we were handed obviously. Like right now, we are LUCKY to play the Dubs without Curry tonight.
Let me put in a scenario most on here might be able to grasp........

vaj yIt tInwI' street je legh 'ej lottery chaw' vItu'. later Hoch ram $ 25,000,000 Qap SoH. Qap lottery chaw' flush tInwI' puchpa''e' vaj 'Ijjaj SoH. Do', 'utmo' Dujvam jatlh luck SoH, ghopDu' neH vIchel tlhap SoH. fucking Nerds!
