If I nor my grandma aren't cooking breakfest my two fav places to go are. Wildwood Cafe in Mcminnville OR. Mary's Kitchen in Cornelius, OR. Both are always full, both have giant proportions, and both have excellent flavor.
I lived near there too. Used to eat there. It was pretty good. Also ate at The Golden Touch down the street...not so good
I’ve heard that the Donald Cafe has amazing breakfasts but I’ve never been there despite being just up the road from Donald.......
Greasy style.....Original Hotcake House base of the Ross Island Bridge Eastside, ScreenDoor on Burnside is amazing, Milo’s on NE Broadway is great, but my wife’s favorite is Cadillac Cafe on Broadway and about 19th.
Original Breakfast (Better Than Grandmas) in Albany has the best pancakes I've ever had. https://www.facebook.com/Original-Breakfast-148130011878609/
SHe’s half Scottish, thus not a very good cook. The only meal she lets me cook though is breakfast. Chorizo con juevos, with potatoes....watch out FAMS!
It's all about the memories for me. Do you cook the chorizo in the eggs or with the potatoes? I start the chorizo and then cook the potatoes in the grease. Add in eggs later. Can do scrambled but i pref over easy so the yolk soaks into the potatoes too.
Nah. That place is about 5 blocks from my house and it ain’t worth the line or attitude you get from the employees.
Sounds amazing. I cook the chorizo first then add eggs and cheese onions and cooked potatoes. Mix it all up together, heat up som tortillas and we are good to go. Kids love it.
Pilot Butte Drive-in, Palmer’s Cafe in Bend. Gordy’s Truck Stop in La Pine. OHH,OPH, Elmer’s in Portland.
I live on the other side of the country in the State that has the most diners of all in the US. Any "greek owned" diner in NJ is AOK. Recently, I was watching Diners, Dives and Drive in's with Guy Fiero. He stopped at the Vincentown Diner and I agree the breakfast menu is legendary.
