I tend to agree. There's a difference between pretending contact existed where it didn't, and choosing not to resist the natural effect of contact that did actually happen and legitimately should be a foul. Why should Nurkic be penalized for being strong enough to hold up against actions which, if performed against another player, would easily meet the "to and through" criteria? Should opposing players be allowed to slam significantly harder into certain defenders just because they're bigger?

You're both right. Nine total, but eight after the ASG.

    nope, thats what you think

what he did to Nurk was disrespecting... if two of your players are playing well, why would you prefer a backup C to a starting C, cause you know, starting players are starters for a reason, theyre better players than backups... Nurk wasnt gassed, wasnt injured, wasnt dominated by GSW players, didnt play bad, so If Im Nurkic, I sure wouldnt be happy, cause its not the first nor will be the last time he did it

whats your point, if Dame and Shabazz are both playing well, we should keep Shabazz in, I dont get it... cause its really the same thing... yes Dame is much, much better player, its not even comparable, but if Shabazz is having as good game as Dame, I guess youd have no problem with Dame sitting the rest of the game, yeah right

Nurk was having a good game, 10/11 after 3rd quarter and despite Ed Davis having a good game too, you should put you starting C back in... thats how it works, its a fact, not biased opion by some bosnian poster who is apparently Nurkic fan and not a POR fan

Situations and matchups are fluid. Nurk is our best option against 7-footers lie Pachulia (their normal starter) and McGee (their starter last night). However, when they go with a smaller 5 like Looney, or even those lineups where Draymond plays the 5, a smaller, quicker, more "high-energy" 5 like Ed makes a lot of sense. That was the case in the 4th last night.

Honestly, I think Kerr hoped that going with a matchup not favorable to Nurkic would keep him off the floor to GSW's benefit. He was right on the first count, just not on the second.

in Bosnia theres saying: "Its easy to be a general after the battle", that what your comment "Playing Ed won the game. " sounds

could you know for a fact playing Ed Davis would win us a game, of course not, neither could Stotts... could I know playing Nurk would win us a game, of course not and thats what Im saying, they were both playing well and naturally you should put your starting C back in... if Ed Davis was playing better than Nurk, I wouldnt say a word, but he didnt and Stotts just opted for him

whats is Stotts logic, if Ed Davis plays well 4th quarter, hell leave him on the floor no matter how Nurk played... I guess if Nurkic wants to play in 4th quarter, he should start the damn quarter and if he plays well, hell play the entire quarter

I dont mind it really, I dont care what other people say, not even my mother...

Im just saying, I joke here a lot, especially when it comes to Nurk, but the fact is Im one of his biggest critics (not on this forum)... if you want, I can copy here what Im writing at some other places when hes having a bad game... just so you would know the truth

but when something is wrong, its wrong... I dont like it and Ill always say it

Your Dame/Shabazz vs Ed/Nurk comparison doesn't fly. Dame >> Shabazz while Nurk is only somewhat better than Ed at this time. Nurk had a fine game, but Ed was playing out of his mind. Warriors couldn't stop him on the boards. It made sense to keep him and Zach in. Not disrepectful.

Hopefully Nurk doesn't share your crap attitude because that will ruin this TEAM.

I just hope if Shabazz and Pat C have a good game in the 4th quarter against MIA, we dont put Dame and CJ back in

like you know, Dame and CJ are having a good game, but so do they and we keep going with them

Our team won 8 straight after the all star game by an average of about 12 points per game.

What's there not to like about that?

If Shabazz and Pat are having a good game against Miami, we're probably up by 25, so Dame and CJ shouldn't come back in. :ghoti:

When Nurk went out the Blazers were struggling to stay in the game. Davis came in and the game turned. Go watch again. Nothing away from Nurk at all but facts is facts. Davis matched up better against the Warriors in that game. If they brought ZaZA Pachula back in then it would have been Nurk time.
