Most of us that were high on him around draft time said the team was crazy for projecting him as a center. He's a prototypical PF in every way, with the ability to slide to the 5 as needed. It sort of fits with Olshey's haphazard approach to duplicated talent acquisition, though. He's great at identifying talent, but seems to rely on luck as to whether it'll fit.
That's not an issue with his ability though, more the problem with temper/control. Things like that almost always get better with experience, in all sports.
Zach will turn out to be the best player in this draft. And we got him !!! What does that say about out GM?
Your post count us a bit too low to be making that type of complaint. Shit like that happens all the time. Go do a search on many fire Neil or fire Stotts threads there are. I'll wait.
Defense first, good rebounder, tough as nails. Sounds like Taj and Zach to me. Taj also has a very nice post game.
He said like Taj, but only taller and with a better shot. Those are two pretty significant differences. Taken to the extreme, that's like saying Meyers Leonard is just like Tim Duncan without the high BBIQ and instincts. BNM
He's only an inch taller than some of the all-time great PFs like Duncan, Dirk, Garnett, etc. His mobility and versatility makes him better suited to a tall PF than to a skinny C.
