If there are very few, then we really don't need armed civilians. And I doubt there are all that many mercenaries available for hire in this country - especially given that there's probably a pretty big overlap between those who would be mercenaries and those who would be excited about taking up arms against the government. barfo
You know quite well I meant traitors, and there's no possible way you missed that. But this is the game you play every time you are exposed.
We don't all need guns to handle a few traitors. That's absurd. The members of the military who aren't traitors, or law enforcement, can handle that problem. If you are talking about some large fraction of the military being traitors, then I think you are just fantasizing about killing soldiers. We have something like 1.5M military personnel. What fraction of those do you think are traitors? barfo
As expected all along, loudmouth bully Kasky chickens out of debate he agreed to. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/03/2...cmp=ob_article_sidebar_video&intcmp=obnetwork Parkland student Kasky bows out of debate with Kashuv By Nicole Darrah | Fox News Cameron Kasky (right), who agreed to a live debate over his conflicting views over gun reform with fellow Marjory Stoneman Douglas student Kyle Kashuv, has pulled out of the deal citing "personal reasons." (File) A Parkland high school student who agreed to a live debate over his conflicting views over gun reform with fellow Marjory Stoneman Douglas student Kyle Kashuv has pulled out of the deal. The two agreed on Sunday to a "live debate" after Kasky, in an appearance on "Fox News Sunday," said it was "pathetic" a National Rifle Association (NRA) TV host said "no one would know [Parkland students'] names" if their classmates hadn't died. Kasky also claimed that the NRA "can't attack our argument, so they're attacking us personally."
So the electoral college was designed so that the lower vote getter should win? Why did the framers intend that? And if they did, why don't we have the minority candidate win every time? It may be working as designed, but it's not working as intended. It's a design flaw. You should know about that being the boat builder you are. People create flaws that need to be fixed.
.[/QUOTE] To continually attack a bunch of high school and younger students over a tragedy that I would hope never happens again is pathetically sick. You alt right extremists are what is ruining this country along with the CIC {clown in charge).
Ha! You know that is bull shit but you do it anyway. Sort of funny really. You run your mouth like a fucking woodpecker! Nothing said, but the noise is heard and shit flies!
Not really a personal insult. If he would have said you ARE a woodpecker that might have been insulting. But like a woodpecker... kind of a gray area... Now if he would have used cock instead of pecker....
Let's not. I'd rather be spending my time today begging the Blazers for playoff tickets and swag then policing for personal insults, lol.
Oh, I will keep them within the same scope as you allowed marzy. Have you checked out bodymans new avatar? Lots of classy people on this forum. (green font)
>>> I take it you are looking for original intent. I like that. As you know, we do not have a democracy in this country, it is representative democracy or Republic. A union of independent States with a Federal Government handling those matters assigned by the Constitution to the Federal government. All other matters are left to the people or their States. The election of the President of the Federal government is done State by State, just as are their representatives. So it is a done deal when talking about a Senator. But with the President, it takes a plurality of votes among the States, with each State voting it's weight as a State with an official census count size in population. The electoral colleges fill that role in voting the results of each State election. It is up to the States on how they parse out the electoral votes as a result of their election. It was never intended to be a direct popular vote of the people anymore than any vote in congress, our representatives vote on our behave. Yes, the value of the States in total, does dilute the value of the large populations centers, so attention must be given across the Nation, not simply pander to a handful of large Cities. Working as designed. >>> I have no idea. >>> I think this view is dependent on whether you win or lose. >>> Oh now this is another matter entirely. This design is meeting expectations and then some. I am very pleased. The above highlighted statement is going to be closely looked at soon. The 2020 census is going to ask each person if they are a citizen. Non citizens should not be counted as they are now in parsing out the Representation and the Electoral votes. The states of California, with who knows out many illegals, is suing the Federal government over this issue of non citizens. The State of Washington is joining the case with California.
I have a stalker and he doesn't understand the PapaG airsoft gun connection. I thought dude quit the forum and every time I checked to see if he was still here he was looking at one of my threads. Just a coincidence I'm sure.
