She blackmailed a lawyer. He admits it, she admits it. Blackmail is a crime. She is guilty of a felony. Paying a blackmailer is not a crime, anymore than bleeding to death from a murderer's knife attack is a crime. You have a bizarre sense of what is right or wrong.
