Predictions on the rotation against NO?

I know Terry usually shortens it, but I think it'll be the same as the one against the Jazz, at least until Harkless gets back.

Dame, CJ, Turner, Aminu, Nurkic, Davis, Collins, Napier, Baldwin, Connaughton.

If/when Moe comes back I see Connaughton as the odd man out. We'll need Baldwin to pick up Jrue, Rondo, or Moore. Expect to see a lot of three guard lineups by Portland.

Pat will get spot minutes at best; Baldwin has probably eaten his entire lunch.

Porno series? I'm missing something or your phone just defaults to porno, don't know what word auto correct would use that for.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Meyers get some spot minutes - we're gonna need big bodies (with fouls to spare) to throw at Davis.

I can't see Meyers being asked to guard Davis. I think that'll be Aminu and Nurkic' assignment. If they get in foul trouble, Davis and Collins. Honestly, I'd just send doubles at him the whole series and force their other guys to beat us.

I think so too. Holiday is a big guard that has given Portland problems. If there's an opportunity to take Lillard off of him, we should take advantage of that.

For example we could put Lillard on Rondo, CJ on Moore, and let Baldwin guard Holiday. Turner is another option as well.

I just want Terry to learn from the past and make quick, decisive moves to adjust. He is usually rigid with his rotations and doesn't change lineups/strategies quickly.

That said, Baldwin needs a look

I think we need to take a page out of the Houston series, shut the outside down and put our best defensive big on their star.

Aminu and Ed are gonna get tortured by Davis. Yes, I know he can torture anyone - but Aminu/Ed are way too undersized and won't provide any resistance. Not that I expect Meyers to provide much resistance, but just that we'll need a big body when Nurk/Ed/Collins/Aminu get in foul trouble...I'd rather let Meyers foul out, than have those other guys with 3 fouls in the first half.

We should put Napier on him. I hear Napier is one of the best all around defenders in the league. Honestly would like Harkless on him. Harkless isn’t as tall, but is strong and quick enough. Heal fast please.

I don't know, they are a great 3 point shooting team. I think we let Davis get his and try to stay up on their shooters.

wb4 will most likely get a look. Frankly, because he can help the team.
But if he commits stupid fouls like he did the last two games of the season...
He'll see his limited minutes reduced, and rightfully so.
This is a playoff game, you can't have a back up guard committing 3 fouls in 3 minutes and allowing NO to get into the penalty early in quarters.

Hard to objectively say they were stupid fouls or that he hurt the team. I’ll take a guy that’s playing physical and getting whistled for actually fighting through a screen, rather than someone that just plays it safe and lets players blow past for some layup drills.

    But just for giggles:

Baldwin the last two games: +14, +5.

Theres a reason he was the first off the bench against the Jazz. Stotts has a short trigger with young players. If he was making stupid decisions, he wouldn’t be out there, especially not at this stage of the season. He’s forcing his way into the rotation.
