    The irony is that you have to really love and I mean love a team to stick with them as long as I have with no titles that I am old enough to remember.

    Same. I was thinking "Okay, a decoy. No way we're relying on Meyers here."

    If he really wanted Meyers to shoot, hed of had him camped on the 3 pt line. It's on stotts, not the players. I don't think Meyers is the brighest IQ guy, but I do think he's smart enough to know that. But Stotts had to of told him to roll.

    It fucking sucks because Terry Stotts the person is an amazing guy. Not of this frustration or anger is personal. As a coach though, I can't stand the silly mistakes he makes and some of the situational awareness he lacks.

    I'm still lost. That game was built for Dame Time. Dame could've shot the ball to take the lead but he goes for free throws. I'm starting to look at Dame's playoff performances over the years and all I see is the Houston shot. He disappeared against Memphis. He was a no show for Game 1 last year. Grrrrr

    Especially with all the heartbreak that we've gone through.

    Portland fans deserve better. It pissed me off. We deserve a contender more than any other fanbase and when we finally get a game 1, we lose off of some dumbass basketball.

    Yeah, he hasn't performed as well I the playoffs as the regular season but I blame the fact that teams consistently load up on him and we have no one that helps him out.

    Good observations, especially on that CJ TO. He got discombobulated . You never leave your feet unless you going up for the shot. That was a huge play. Also Dame looking for contact on that two, instead of just stopping, and going up strong for a shot. That was another. Chief and ET need to handle the ball less. They were TO machines.

    CJ didn’t wait for his screen from ET on a baseline cut to the corner, and Dame, the primary look, wasn’t open on the flare screen from Meyers. That’s why Meyers cut, he was the 3rd option.

    Regardless, it was a very basic ATO and was never going to work. Also have no idea why Meyers needed to be in for it.
