By not responding with more horseshit. Cause its not.
Stop drinking out of solid plastic cups and start drinking out of clear glasses.
You will see that as much as the glass is half empty, its also half full.

Technically it was the second best thing that could have happened if you just assume a win or a loss.

A leaky roof that caused the game to be cancelled would have been better than losing. But of the two main choices this was second.

Okay lets go your route then...

The sky is falling. We are the worst playoff team ever.
    We wont win a game.
    We are overrated
We need a firesale so we can be a lottery team and not have games to watch this time of year.

I might actually need to ignore you for the playoffs if you will not let someone make a post trying to be positive.
For someone who claims to be a realist, you do know you are a pescimist, not a realist right?

Great response. When you can't counter a point, resort to nit picking an obvious typo.

    More positive spin:
    • 3 more like this and Dame gets to spend a lot of time with his newborn - a lot more important in the long run
    • There's somebody more hurt by this than the Blazers: Boogie Cousins's agent
    • Proves the Blazers weren't slacking off when they looked like shit the last month of the regular season - they were giving their full playoff effort
    • New Orleans as a city needs this more than Portland does
    • It's not like we weren't going to get killed in the next round anyway, so why wait?

Waiting to lose the first game of a series with home court advantage in order to get their shit together is not the greatest of game plans.

It's time to buck up, win the next game, this series, and keep the aggressive attitude going into the 2nd round.

Assuming there we're only two outcomes: winning or losing. Losing was definitely second best.

Actually that is pretty much my point. Blazer fans talk about 0.9 seconds. Houston fans talk about losing home court. But in the fun of it all i should have used the Green Font.

Green font bro. Green font. We didn't used to have to spell out every joke in the past. This new generation is lazy.

So you are defending the team by saying it’s a wake up call... this team needed a wake up call for game 1 of the playoffs at home??? After almost losing home court by dropping 4 of 5 to eand season they need another wake up call in game 1 of playoffs???

It sucks the Blazers lost game one and HCA, they stop have a shot at winning the series, but it will probably take the full 7 games now to do it. The pels play with a short rotation so the longer the series goes the more likely they get burned out.

Their Defense wasn't the worst part. The worst part was their pathetic attempt at offense. What was our three point shooting percentage?

It was a loss and the team played poorly. If they lose 3 more in the series then it's an issue and if they don't then they move on to the next round. Simple as that.
