The MarAzul is ready for sea again, after several days in the Shipyard in Oxnard. She should be heading up the coast for Morro Bay by the end of the week.
Anacapa Island The signature profile of the Channel Islands National Park Smugglers Road down to Smugglers cove, Santa Cruz Island.
Gotta go with Killer Paints real flames as the guy is an amazing air brush artist and his shop is in Snohomish Washington.
MarAzul hanging out on an end-tie in Santa Barbara waiting for the winds to calm some off shore. Blowing 25 knots or better out past Pt. Conception right now. It may take a few days, so life is good in Santa Barbara.
Heck, you can cut MarAzul in half and put it back together with FlexTape. The boat, not the poster. BioFlexSeal has not yet hit the market. barfo
I fixed my massage therapy water bed bladder a few years back with 5 bicycle tube patches...lasted two years...tried flex seal this time to fix a leak...stuff does not work as advertised...leaked like crazy..I'm going back to the bicycle patches...
Anchored in Cove near the UC Santa Barbara Campus at Goleta. Only moved about 15 miles today, marking time and working my way out to Pt Conception. Thursday looks right to run up the Coast to Morro Bay. Some guys have a boat that attracts some attention. It seems MarAzul attracts the Coast Guard. They boarded the MarAzul soon after clearing the harbor at Santa Barbara today. She got a passing grade on her safety inspection. The fourth time now, perhaps someone should sell them a computer with internet access so they can keep track of work already reported. Yea, I think I could set them up with a workable system. Damn! This is getting annoying! Nice Lads but....
