This is why I would be pushing so hard for Middleton with the TPE. He's bigger than CJ and a legit defender. Then do the CJ and 24 for Love and Bridges trade.

    Dame at PG
Middleton, Harkless, Bridges, Aminu on the wing
Love, Nurk, Collins, Davis as the bigs.

Now that would be a good team plus Nurk and the wings could hide Love and Dame's defense.

Who's the backup guard in this scenario?

I'd want to trade Aminu for a backup combo guard that could create their own shot in this scenario. (maybe include Aminu and Layman for Clarkson in this deal?)

To Orlando if they fall out of the Top-3. Below Top-3, they may be open to moving their pick. CJ/Aminu/Swanigan and a swap of 1st round picks Fournier, Isaac, Mack and draft Michael Porter.

I couldn't see Orlando giving up Isaac AND a top 5 pick for CJ.

We'd still have Turner and Baldwin. We could also re-sign Napier. I think Aminu might be valuable to have at the trade deadline.

I think he'll be more valuable now.. his contract is very good so, in my opinion, the longer he has on it, the more valuable it is.

That seems like a lot of wishful thinking but for a shooting guard, Henderson would be a player to explore as he would likely come cheap for a year at least (as long as he checks out healthy)

    What about Aaron Gordon?
It seems like he could be gettable

Why do you think Aaron Gordon is gettable?
I see no reason whatsoever why the Magic would trade him. 22 years old, improved to a legit star.
His only issue is he couldn't stay on the court this year.
Magic are going to look to move pieces, but I doubt Aaron Gordon is one of them.

:dunno: The mind of Neil Olshey is far beyond my comprehension. If it came out that something like that were offered and declined, I would undoubtedly join the torches and pitchforks crowd.

Why would the Bucks trade Middelton?

Well he played well in the playoffs but he was having a bit of a down year. My thinking is that the Bucks were supposed to take a jump this year after a good season last year and are so disappointed with the way the season went that they will try to reshape their roster this summer and try something else surrounding the Greek Freak.

How do you figure Middleton had a down year? His ppg is up 6ppg, rpg are up 1rpg, while assists were up over .6 and his shooting percentage over all was up yet down in 3 point shooting but still respectable. All other stats are virtually the same. Add that in with the importance he showed for this team in the playoffs and it would shock me if they were interested in moving him unless it's a lopsided deal.

"Orlando at least explored Gordon’s trade market at the deadline, according to several reports. But the team likely was asking for a king’s ransom for him. That indicates the Magic want to keep him this summer."

    Man who would've thought that.
I'll explore Lillard's trade market as well.
Only way I'd move him is if I was getting AD + 3 first round picks from the Nets, Suns, or Kings.
