You know i kind of think they have more than 5 years left in them. They both played 4 years of college ball. Kind of makes them older but they have less mileage on them. Don't see a problem with them playing until 35 at all. They might not be Blazers but they probably will be in the league and playing well.

I’m not sure if he’s passed Jordan but Lebron is the only player besides Jordan that I’ve ever been in awe of so often. Pretty awesome being able to watch his entire career from high school till now, the man is special.

And equally as good of a role model off the court. Wish I had kids so they could watch Lebron like I watched Jordan. It shaped me as a sports fan.

The Blazers had Wesley Mathews when they drafted CJ.

I hope the Raptors get blown out in game 4. Something like 42-17 type blowout by the end of the first Q. Fuck this underachieving-in-recent-times organization.

Toronto's DeRozan shot 3-12 today without taking a 3-point shot. I wondered how unusual that is in the playoffs for a guard (big men often don't take 3s).

It says this is the 10th time in the last 23 seasons. 2 of the 10 times were by Evan Turner, but his team won both games.

"from 1996 to 2018, in the playoffs, played G or G-F, requiring 3-Pt Field Goal Attempts = 0 and Field Goal Pct <= .25 and Field Goal Attempts >= 12"

Joel Embiid is insane. Love his attitude, he must own a poster shop somewhere.

Tatum is amazing. Even as a rookie he is Boston's best go to guy. (With Kyrie out)
And as good and exciting as Philly is, they still do no have anyone who has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble when the game is on the line.

That might be the perception, but I don't think it's correct. With the year Mirotic had, majorly impacting two different teams, he should be in the discussion for All-NBA honors, not listed in the "very minor moves" category.

I consider his acquisition similar, but more significant at the time, to us getting Nurkic. And as we all know, that was anything but lacking fanfare. I was as disappointed that: a) Mirotic was available for so little, and b) that we didn't make a play for him, as I am curious whether NOP will even bother trying to reintegrate Cousins.

He wasn’t that good last night. 10-26 from the floor for a center is something we give Westbrook stick for constantly.

Mirotic is a good player but there were character concerns after he got punched in the face and his teammates sided with Portis. He had gone through long periods of struggles in Chicago prior to this year so some people thought his hot shooting for a small amount of games before being traded was maybe just a temporary flash like he's done before. I didn't think he was good enough to put a team over the top but that opinion looks off right now.

As for trades, the Pelicans were left for dead after the Cousins injury so their 1st round pick was supposed to be higher in the Bulls mind. Turned out to be 22 instead of 24 but I doubt the Bulls thought either would be that bad. We could've acquired Mirotic using the TPE but it would've meant a big luxury tax payment and it wouldn't have changed much financially for the Bulls as they were under the salary floor. Asik had less future guaranteed money than Leonard.
