So Boston loses 2 all stars for a full season to injury and keeps winning... Blazers lose their 4th or 5th best player for a few games and it’s a valid excuse for getting swept by the freakin Pelicans?! You are so brainwashed man

Whoa now, I never called for a complete overhaul. I think we're two players and a coach away from being very competitive - perhaps a bit further off than you, but hardly what I would call a complete overhaul. But as things stand, we're very middle of the pack.

I personally don't think George would have been agreeable to that trade if the Blazers lost CJ to get him. Really you don't want to trade for a player that isn't going to be happy being in your uniform. So No, that in my opinion would have been a bad trade.

Well this took a strange turn angry man. Now you want to compare each other and our lives for some reason? I'm game.
    Alright lets break this down........
I will say that my house isn't the largest, but it is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Portland. So I'd be willing to give it a go on property value for sure. If you think square footage of your place is the best way to judge it's value, you are new to the game. Let me know and we can post our addresses on here and we can see what we find on RMLS for value. I just remodeled last summer, so I know mine.
How exactly would we compare accomplishments though? Thats a tough one. See I have a couple friends who are now powerful lawyers in DC that some would consider WAY more "accomplished" than I. But if you look at their background and the support they received, they SHOULD be.
I kinda did it all on my own. Scrapped and grinned my way to where I am. All by myself. So I believe my accomplishments were earned and not given. Do you work in an industry that we could judge your success? I'd be interested to see what you have accomplished. I love other people success stories. This one will be tough to judge, but maybe we could make a poll and let these guys vote. Like I said don't know where this came from, but this could be fun. And to be honest, this won't change how annoying your day in and day out repetitive angry posts are.
Now as far as me thinking I'm still in HS, I do consider myself young at heart. Listen to some of the same music my kids do, have a solid social media game as well. Been told from both of my kids groups of friends that I am heads and above the coolest dad they know, so there is that. Would you let me add that to my list of accomplishments you were wondering about earlier. The only thing highschoolish I seeing around here is a grown man wanting to compare their accomplishments and how big their house is with people they don't agree with on a sports forum. Really kid? Who types that kinda shit who isn't 16 in their mom's basement?

As far as the term FAM/FAMS, it will never be outdated. And the sad part is, you think you are cracking on me for using it, but you don't know the reason WHY I use it. Majority on here do though. Step away from your angry rants about everything Stotts/Olshey and google S2's ALL-TIME great "FAMS" thread. Thats why I use it.

..........Learn your forum history, then post FAMS!

No way I'm taking credit for that. Heard I had people quitting S2 because of that blurry photo. Don't want that happening again.

So the 13 game winning streak was only against injured teams and fools gold but the losses at the end of the season in which some of them were without Dame, Harkless, and Davis means that we obviously suck and have to fire everyone and rebuild?

Why can't there be middle ground? They aren't as good as the 13 game winning streak but they aren't as bad as they showed against the Pelicans either. In my opinion it wasn't the match-up against the Pelicans that was the issue, it was getting the 3rd seed and having home court advantage for the first time for this group. When they beat the Rockets in 2014 they went down and won the first two games on the road. Then they come home and lose game 3 and almost lost games 4 and 6. You have to have a different mindset when you are the favored team because the pressure is all on you. That is why the end of Game 1 hurts so bad. If they would have won that game, a game they were losing throughout, I think things play out completely differently. The Blazers would be playing with more confidence and the Pelicans would have been doubting themselves after they played a great game and still lost. The same thing happened to the Raptors against the Cavs and it was over in a flash because of them choking in Game 1.

Now that isn't meant as an excuse because we can't change the results of the playoffs. However finding a couple players this off season to the equivalent of what NoLa did with Rondo and Mirotic can in fact boost this roster. A team needs to keep improving each year. I'm willing to see if they learn from what happened at the end of this season. If that answer is no then they definitely need to clean house but I feel like some just expect teams to be immediate contenders and if they aren't then they are forever doomed to mediocrity. There is such a thing as a learning curve. Sometimes the worst things that happen to someone are the best ways to learn a tough lesson.

Mine isn't really very big and it's in Vancouver. So it isn't real expensive. I have dogs so the yard is big.
I have a second house i'm trying to close on this week in Milwaukie that is actually better than my house that i am turning into a recovery/rental type house.
I'm kind of a simple easy going guy that don't put much into possessions type things.

I believe you meant to say that my post is so brainwashed.

Otherwise, I’d probably be so offended that I wouldn’t be able to come out of my snowflake castle for a week.

Hahahaha... this guy took my post seriously and wrote a novel on his accomplishments with explanation... dude, you are the most sensitive guy I have never met. I’m no kid, and I know how successful I am, but don’t need to explain myself to you. Sorry to get you so emotional
