I like NHL, I’ve been watching a lot of Mariners games and Food Network lately though.

sucks about Cano's broken arm but the new guy they brought up from the minors to play 2nd is supposed to be pretty good....Cano might not be back until August....I know it's off topic...apologies to the baseball haters out there

I actually enjoyed watching GSW last season and even the season before, it was poetry in motion. Now it’s just old even though it’s the same brand of basketball.

And reports are Klay is going to sign a team friendly extension to keep it going. Pretty lame.

As competitors don’t you think they would eventually get sick of winning so easily? Wouldn’t you want more of a challenge? Or is it just the opposite and as a competitor being on a team like the Warriors is the best possible scenario?

Beckham has been around, he was playing well in AAA but honestly we are gonna really miss Cano’s bat.

There offense is good enough with out without Cano. This just moves Haniger up in the lineup which is a good thing. Their downfall in the end will be their pitching. Dipoto needs to acquire another starting pitcher.

Every team in baseball needs pitching..if it's not starters it's closers..the toughest thing to find in baseball.....good thing is 6 teams are going to probably lose 100 games so they'll blow it up and trade like crazy pretty soon.

Durant moving to Warriors has ruined the league.

Trying to bridge the gap on a CJ for Love and #8 trade:

    CLE Gets:
    CJ McCollum - $24.0M
    Al-Farouq Aminu $7.3M
Right to Swap POR 2019 1sts
$11.3M Trade Exception (Salary Loss on Trade)
    POR Gets:
    Kevin Love - $22.6M
    George Hill - $20.0M
    Jerryd Bayless - $9.0M
    Miles Plumlee - ($12.5M - Crabbe TPE)
    Timothe Luwawu - ($1.4M - Vonleh TPE)
    DeAndre Bembry - (Vonleh TPE)
    #8 (CLE via BKN)
    PHI Gets:
    Cash
    $9M Trade Exception (Jerryd Bayless)
    ATL Gets:
    Evan Turner - $17.1M
    #26 (PHI)

    Cut Bembry

Draft Mikal Bridges 8th, Chandler Hutchison 24th

    -- In July --
Trade Meyers Leonard, Caleb Swanigan, Jake Layman, Georgios Papagiannis Future 2nds to DAL for Wesley Matthews
Trade Jerryd Bayless to Denver for Darrell Arthur

    Lillard / Hill / Baldwin /
    Matthews / Hill / Hutchison
    Bridges / Harkless / Luwawu
    Love / Collins / Arthur
    Nurkic / Davis / Plumlee

In 2019, attempt to sign Klay Thompson to come home and play with hometown friend Kevin Love. Look to NYK or another team to take on the final year of Harkless and Plumlee. Resign Hill for Room Exception. Resign Davis or another backup C for the minimum.

    2019:
    Lillard / Hill / Baldwin
    Thompson / Hill / ?
    Bridges / Hutchison
    Love / Collins
    Nurkic / Davis

I might become a Lakers fan if Kevin Love ever goes to Portland.

The dynamics of that kind of trade are pretty extensive. Not even sure if that could even be possible? It puts Portland way way over and they still need to sign Nurk and Davis. Unless you are thinking about letting them walk and replacing them with Love and Plumlee? Anyway. A four team trade is just crazy hard to make happen. The big picture though is that starting lineup depends on signing Thompson who is not leaving GS. He will not leave a championship team for Portland.

I have to admit Golden State plays the right way. They really are something to watch.
