Looking at the cap space, Kings should either throw a max to Capela or absorb 2 terrible deals for picks. Like get Mahinmi and pick from Washington or take Deng and pick from LA. Even get crap like Bayless for a pick. Just stock up on young players and have tonnes of money in 2020 when all the dross from 2016 walk away.

From strictly a basketball standpoint, probably not. But you also have to factor in that a player selected at #13 will make nearly as much as players selected at #24 and #26 combined. At 13 we’re not generally talking about a blue chip prospect. The 2017 class wasn’t the norm.

What if they also got rid of Parsons in the deal? Parsons/4 for CJ?

Good point--we can still get Mo Wagner at 24--no need to trade up.

Don't see any of those, though. Wagner's a German. All the ABC's in the mocks are melanin-rich. Isaac Haas won't even get drafted.

Why aren't the Blazers in the Lottery? They didn't win any games in the Playoffs so were they really in? And if they weren't in, they should be in the Lottery. Sigh....picking at #24 for a 0-win Playoff team. That stinks.

The chart isn't end all be all for every draft class. Last year, 15 + 20 only brought us to 10. And we were left with 10 and 26. Too bad the guy who went 27th was worth more than all three picks combined.

How do we get this year's Kuzma? Is Hutchison that guy? I'm only now getting into the draft stuff, but KBD seems intriguing.

Mikal Bridges has a 7'2 wingspan.

And he shot 44% from 3 on nearly 240 attempts.

This should be our target. Might need to get into top 10 unfortunately, but we need to exhaust all our options to do so.

If he falls to 10th then Philadelphia are 100% taking him, he is the player they need. So yes, we would need to get into top 10. It’s hard to predict which order Young, Carter, Sexton and Bridges will go in because I am fairly convinced all of Ayton, Doncic, Jackson Jr, Bagley, Porter and Bamba are going in the top 6-7 (only one from those mentioned before who has the potential to go above any of them is Trae Young because Orlando) to complete the top 10.

Try to save the Knicks some money, open up some cap space for them? Offer up Moe/Biggie for Noah, Aminu for Thomas, TPE for Lee, all to get them to give us the 9?

This is the kind of deal we should be after, but don't think Knicks are the right target. I'm looking more at 8 (depending on what LBJ decides to do) and 10 (in case Philly wants to expedite their development-- seems like a Colangelo thing to do). 12/13 from LAC are other targets but will probably be too low for either Bridges. Keep an eye on PHX as well and their 4 picks-- maybe they'd want to use one to rid themselves of TJ Warren.

Knicks have KP out for pretty much this whole year and have openly admitted that they're going full on in this youth movement. They will most likely draft another project this year and get a lotto pick for next summer along with max capspace in 2019.

Denver winning only 3 fewer regular season games but picking 10 spots ahead of us stings a bit.

Last year we traded 15 and 20 for #10 so I don't see how #24 and #26 would come close to moving up only 3 spots less than last years deal in a draft that's allegedly not as deep.

    According to Pelton's chart, 15 & 20 are equal to 6.

His chart appears to be deeply flawed.

Welcome to this thread finally, ha ha. We've been trying to figure out a way to get Bridges for over a month.
