    As long as he ends up being a cross between Penny Hardaway and Ben Simons.

    I'm sure Dame loves this line:

    "If an NBA team decided to draft Simons, it would be with an eye on the long term, as there's little chance he'll be ready to contribute anything of substance in the immediate future."

    So much for getting Dame the immediate help he requested.

    So, why the exclusive focus on guards? I thought small forward was our biggest weakness going forward. Do we really plan on going into another season counting on Harkless to be Motivated Moe for an entire season, and not the No Show Moe we saw from October to February?

    I think we'd want to consider all options for addressing our biggest weakness.

    The fact that we're bringing in a shit ton of guards leads me to believe the organization isn't as high on Baldwin as some members of this forum are.

    It also doesn't bode well for resigning Shabazz. No surprise, he's not the kind of difference maker worthy of the salary he'll command + the luxury tax we'd pay on that salary.

    It may not bode well for Patty Baseball either.

    Its definitely possible. Rudimentary handle, average burst, streaky and inconsistent shooter, questionable defender.. he could definitely end up being a bust.
