Good job Dame. Here are the rest of the awards James Harden — The NBPA MVP Award LeBron James — The NBPA People’s Champ Award ([best uses his platform to positively impact society]) Vince Carter — The NBPA Most Respected Award (influential veteran) Russell Westbrook — The NBPA Best Side Hustle Award (best off-court endeavors, in fashion, tech, media, art, etc.) Damian Lillard — The NBPA Mr. Clutch Award (most clutch) PJ Tucker — The NBPA Sneaker Champ Award (best shoe game) Donovan Mitchell — The NBPA Leader of the New School Award(best rookie) Rudy Gobert — The NBPA Locksmith Award (best defender) Russell Westbrook — The NBPA Freshest Award (best style/fashion on and off the court) James Harden — The NBPA Toughest To Guard Award Lou Williams — The NBPA X-Factor Award (best off the bench)
This is it, this proves I'm a hopeless white dude with no freaking taste, cause how is westbrook getting these awards for wearing that crap he calls clothes. CJ's gotta have the best side hustle in the league, he spends his off-season all over ESPN, doing player tribune stuff, and he dresses nicer than wb in my (not very good) opinion. It's why my wife picks out my clothes I guess.
Lineup of just the basketball awards: James Harden — The NBPA MVP Award — The NBPA Toughest To Guard Award Damian Lillard — The NBPA Mr. Clutch Award (most clutch) Donovan Mitchell — The NBPA Leader of the New School Award(best rookie) Rudy Gobert — The NBPA Locksmith Award (best defender) Lou Williams — The NBPA X-Factor Award (best off the bench)
These awards show how little respect the rest of the players have for Westbrook's game. Mr. Triple Double didn't win one award that has anything to do with his play on the court. You think a guy setting all those (meaningless) records would deserve a little props for his on court play, but instead, he just wins awards for his flashy wardrobe. Come to think of it, his wardrobe matches his game - all flash, no substance. BNM
I've heard guys talk.....trust me, they respect his game. They just can't stand him as a person. No love there at all. Don't say whats up or talk in the loading dock where guys park their cars or back hallways. Or when they pass by on the court during warmups. There is no connection. Same as Draymond.
Or as a teammate. I wonder what KD would say if you asked him who he'd rather play with, Draymond or Russ? BNM
I think you ask any player who is winning and getting rings and they would say they would rather play with the guys he is winning with.
